Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Fuel Equipment Technician to take on a key role in our service and operations team in Saudi Arabia This position requires a hands-on expert responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of a wide range of fuel system equipment, from dispensers and underground piping to complex automation and monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform expert-level servicing, diagnostics, and repair of fuel dispensers (Gilbarco Encore, Latitude, Frontier; Redjacket), Submersible Turbine Pumps (STP), and Automatic Tank Gauges (ATG).
- System Installation & Projects: Lead and execute installation projects for underground piping, HDPE pipeline systems, flow meters, and Centralized Vapor Recovery Systems (CVRS).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and network-related issues on-site to minimize downtime and ensure system integrity.
- Testing & Quality Control: Conduct pre-installation configuration, QC tests, and repairs on electronic circuit boards and system components.
- Technical Support: Serve as a technical expert, providing support and clear communication to clients and team members on project status and technical matters.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance plans to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance and complies with industry standards.
Qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor's degree (B.Eng,
B.Tech
) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. - A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing fuel dispensing equipment and related systems.
- Proven, deep knowledge of fuel dispensers, STP pumps, ATG systems, fuel automation, underground piping projects, HDPE fusion, and CVRS implementation.
