About the Role
Validation of Construction Drawings
- Review and validate depot equipment construction and installation drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and international railway standards.
- Coordinate with design teams and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or technical issues in the drawings.
- Maintain proper documentation and updates of depot equipment drawings for future reference.
Site Supervision
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of monorail depot equipment , including:
- Automatic Train Wash Machines
- Lifting Jacks and Bogie Drop Systems
- Overhead Cranes and Hoists
- Wheel Lathes and Underfloor Wheel Profiling Machines
- Inspection Pits and Maintenance Platforms
- Compressed Air and Power Supply Systems
- Ensure that installation is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with quality control and operational standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams.
Installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C)
- Supervise the installation and functional validation of depot equipment.

- Develop and implement testing procedures for each depot system to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
- Lead commissioning activities to validate system functionality, ensuring full compliance with railway depot regulations and best practices.
Integration
- Ensure seamless integration of depot equipment with train operations, maintenance workflows, and depot management systems .
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including OEM suppliers, rolling stock teams, and safety inspectors .
- Monitor and evaluate the long-term performance, maintainability, and reliability of depot equipment.
What do we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Railway Engineering .
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in rail depot equipment engineering , preferably in metro, monorail, or railway projects.
- Strong knowledge of rail depot systems, maintenance equipment, and industrial automation .

Reliability Solutions Department (RSD) provides engineering support to Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing wholly owned and affiliates’ facilities (Refining, NGL Processing, and Petrochemicals). This includes reliability, inspection, corrosion management, static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, instrumentation and control support.
Your primary role as Rotating Equipment Engineer is to lead the organization and support the portfolio facilities to achieve the highest level of reliability for plant rotating equipment through a systematic approach and coordinated efforts. You will also administer a holistic system to benchmark, identify gaps and deploy comprehensive solutions to enhance Rotating Equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will work jointly with subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams supporting/ leading troubleshooting, investigations and technical programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Collaborates with organization and facilities SMEs and management to drive rotating equipment reliability initiatives and programs.

- Demonstrate knowledge in engineering practices, international codes, standards and specifications, including API610, API611, API612, API614, API 617, API618, API682, API 692, API 691.
- Understand and analyze vibration data for troubleshooting. Vibration certifications is a plus.

A Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in design and specification of Rotating Equipment such as Pumps, Compressors, Seals, Specialty and Utility Equipment in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore, and/or infrastructure industries. Key Accountabilities- To provide process engineering support for Olefins Processeffective troubleshooting, unit performance assurance and optimization.
- Participate in performance monitoring & enhancement activities. Provide technical expertise for technology upgradation & innovation activities. Support complex sustainability and Process Safety enablers.
- Lead process inputs for de-bottlenecking projects & process/ process safety enhancements MOCs.
- Identify polymer plant specific process safety requirements and support OMS/SHEMS compliance from Process Engineering perspective.
- As team member assure quality technical and HAZOP studies, facility siting etc.
- Provide process support in defining Operating Procedures, effective operating envelope, troubleshooting, shutdown and start-up.
- Provide process engineering support for performance assurance and optimization as integral part of Plant Management Team
- Provide process support assuring seamless complex integration and coordinate efficient utilization of common resources.
- Provides technical support from process engineering perspective on instrumentation, control systems, automation, applications and process domain security.
- Participate in initiatives to apply advance control strategies.
- Track key process/asset performance indicators to monitor and capture opportunities.
- Provide process inputs for benchmarking studies, sustainability etc.
- Participate in targeted performance enhancement efforts, thru internal and external initiatives to meet upcoming business challenges.
Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or Equivalent with minimum 6 years of experience.
