    This is a predominantly site-based role under the general direction of the Project HSE Manager. The Safety Officer is responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities undertaken by the project team and contractors, providing guidance and expertise on project safety requirements, and ensuring smooth communication regarding field activities.

    The role involves ensuring timely provision of information to contractors, assisting the Project Management Team with HSE matters, coordinating activities to minimize interface issues and risks, and promoting a safe working environment. Additional responsibilities include preparing work permits, evaluating contractor competencies, developing training packages, and conducting accident investigations.

    Minimum qualifications include over 5 years of experience in related projects (oil & gas / petrochemical plants), a safety diploma or relevant safety courses. Preference is given to candidates from Saudi Arabia.
