A degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science from a reputed university or similar approved qualifications from overseas. Any two certifications required from these: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CCNP, MCSE, Security, ITIL, PMP.

General Responsibilities:
- Data Centre Security Specialists are the most technically advanced members of the SOC / NOC staff. In addition to the support functions, they participate in planning and design at the highest levels.
- Also includes mentoring and development of other staff members, as well as holding one or more sub-roles.
- They may also hold a shift supervisory role within the SOC / NOC.
- Third level technical support for fault management and customer provisioning.
- Design responsibilities for complex customer requirements.
- Interaction with vendors and support providers as needed.
- Participation in planning of services.
- Post problem analysis and maintenance of the knowledge base used in support.
- Approving authorities within the change management process.
- Information Security Consciousness and high degree of knowledge.
- Resolving security incidents, and implement controls and risk mitigation.

Job Specification

- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Organised planning and task prioritisation skills.
- Intimate familiarity with all service offerings of the SOC / NOC and ITB as a whole.
- Knowledge and acceptance of the business drivers behind the technologies.
- Information Security Leadership and best methods practice.
- Should have a minimum of 5 years Security Services design experience in best of the breeds' products.
- Experience of Telecom and ISP environments most preferred.
- Strong IP Networking is essential, including BGP, MPLS routing.
- Knowledge of IPSec, PKI, Anti-Virus, Content Filtering and Anti-Spam products, correlation Engine technologies.
- Should be familiar with the Federal Government security requirements, including Prime Ministerial and Cabinet directives for agency security.
- Should have some knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Perl, C++, Unix Scripting).
- Excellent communication/oral/written skills.
- Broad technical skills in UNIX, NT and Linux operating Systems.

Experience

**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
+ Experience in cybersecurity matters (e.g. threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, Identity and Access Management systems).
+ Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
+ Ability to communicate fluently in Arabic to support client relationship management in this region.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ Certification in cloud or in a security industry.
+ Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g. threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or Identity and Access Management systems).
+ Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g. ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).

You listen and deliver what is most helpful for the customer. You assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will partner with technical Sales teams as a cybersecurity subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud and security solutions to customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks related to cybersecurity. You will use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud. You will have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. You will partner with internal engineering stakeholders to improve products and build solutions, optimizing for results when in production and identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole. **Responsibilities:**
+ Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
+ Share in-depth security expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, support bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
+ Work with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
+ Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
+ Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, act as a public advocate for Google Cloud
