Purpose of the job:
Prepare, or direct the preparation of, product or system layouts and detailed drawings and schematics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee testing, installation, and repair of marine diesel & gas engines.

-Inspect marine equipment and machinery in order to draw up work requests and job specifications.
-Maintain contact with, and formulate reports for, clients in order to ensure completion of work
-Request the parts needed for completion of the work.
-Receiving repair inquiries from customer.
-Prepare evaluation sheet and submit offer to customer.
-Submit service report after the job/service completion.
-Assuring of providing customer with a high level of service and a rapid, flexible response to their requirements.
-Maintaining records of all inspection, calibration and other job related performed.
-Maintaining records of equipment regular inspection and calibration records.
-Assuring that instruments/devices used are correct to monitor compliance with customer equipment.
-Assuring that all inspection, measurement and test equipment affecting quality, safety and the environment is accurate, appropriate for the task and correctly calibrated.
-Assuring that training and certificates are updated.

Job Role:We are seeking a professional Category Manager – Aviation responsible for procurement of aviation-specific products and services across departments. Responsibilities include technical specification review, bidding process management, vendor selection, negotiations, and contract review and finalization.
The Category Manager – Aviation will handle procurement of items such as aircraft, engines, airport services (aircraft, cargo, baggage, passenger), aviation-specific IT systems, and third-party support services like fuel, cleaning, catering, engineering, and training. The role requires balancing quality and cost of goods and services.
General Activities:- Develop procurement strategies (e.g., tendering, reverse auctions).
- Gather procurement requirements from departments or senior management.
- Detail specifications using RFP/RFT templates.

About the Role
