Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Engineering Manager to join our Qiddiya Logistics team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the planning and initial site set-up and production of the Logistics engineering and Design management plan, integrated with the city and program engineering plans to give a city-wide approach.
Develops Standard operating procedures for the rail tunnels, civils and structures engineering of the program and ensure that QIP follow them so there is operational consistency across the program.
Ensures and assures consistency in the execution of supply chain design and construction in accordance with Client technical requirements.
Leads design review process to ensure compliance with Client Requirements
Coordinates technical reviews in support of the FIDIC Engineer
Coordinate with other delivery partners (Jacobs and Mace), as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
Plan and implement civil engineering strategies and approaches in accordance with the completed and approved mobility engineering plan.
Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.
Contributes to the development of innovative engineering principles and ideas.
Leads on unusually complex civil engineering problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with project and engineering leads.
Facilitates partnerships with key stakeholders/organizations impacted by the program.
Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
Agrees scope, budget and schedule for remote engineering services in support of QIP tracks the completion of work orders.
Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.
Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.
Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
4-year degree in Civils Engineering and preferred Masters degree and Chartered status (or equivalent) with minimum 10 years’ experience in mega construction projects.
Proven experience of working within a complex rail and metro engineering environment with tunnelling, Stations, Structures and heavy Civils.
Working knowledge with all local and international Railways and Metro applicable standards in the field of Civils, Stations, Structures and Tunnels
Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.
Very strong oral & written communication skills in English.

Proven experience of working within complex civil engineering environment.

Parsons is looking for a highly skilled and versatile Engineering / Design Manager to oversee the Parsons’s Digital Infrastructure engineering management for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and Other Projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the planning and design and production of the digital infrastructure engineering and design plan.
Develop Standard operating procedures for digital infrastructure engineering of the program and ensures that QIP follows them so there is operational consistency across the program.
Coordinate with other delivery partners, as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
Plan and implement digital infrastructure strategies and approaches by completing and approving engineering plans.
Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.
Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas, leading in the field of systems management.
Lead on unusually complex engineering problems and provides highly creative solutions, in coordination with site and engineering leads.
Facilitate partnerships with key stakeholders/organizations impacted by the program.
Assign work to employees, oversee, and track the completion of work assignments.
Interview and select personnel for assignment as required.
Maintain clear and concise work standards and goals; provide training and development; complete performance evaluations, conduct employee counselling, take corrective action, as necessary.
Ensure adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Champion "Safety First" value, specifically confident in enacting ‘Stop Work’ authority, engage in relevant health/safety/wellbeing standards and behaviors.
Present a regular design progress report update to the Project Director and regularly keeps informed of ongoing activities, developments, and issues.
Manage the design process in coordination with external consultants from concept through to construction documentation stages, ensuring conformity to the project stated objectives, in line with WoW, and provides recommendations.
Manages design change and design notification instructions in coordination with the Project Management team
What Technical Skills You have:
4-year degree in ICT, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering and a preferred Master's degree and Chartered status (or equivalent) with minimum 12-15 years’ experience in giga construction projects.
Proven experience of working within a complex digital infrastructure engineering environment.
Working knowledge of all local and international Digital infrastructure applicable standards.
Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.
Very strong oral & written communication skills in English.
Proven experience delivering ICT assets from design through construction and commissioning.
PMP or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
Preferred exposure to Data Centres, Fiber Network Rollouts, and Cellular towers deployment along PPP and Government-led Urban Developments
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Proven experience of working within a complex digital infrastructure engineering environment.
Ability to work in and lead teams, to follow through and close out all work-related items, to deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with and influence senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.

**Job Summary**:
The Research and Engineering Programs Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive coordination and support for research initiatives and engineering programs within the organization. This role involves working closely with research teams, faculty, and program managers to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and successful implementation of various projects. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
