About the Role:

Are you passionate about embedding a safety-first culture across engineering and maintenance operations?

As Manager - Engineering & Maintenance Safety, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of safety investigations, hazard identification, and monitoring programs across Riyadh Air's Engineering & Maintenance functions. Reporting to the Director of Safety, you will ensure that all maintenance activities meet the highest safety standards and comply with GACAR regulations and international best practices.

In this role, you will lead the investigation of serious safety events, oversee the administration of the occurrence reporting system, and manage safety inspections and audits. You will facilitate risk assessments and management of change processes within the Safety Management System (SMS), while working closely with internal teams to ensure safety events are fully documented and addressed. Your role will also include collaborating with regulators, guiding the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) program, and advising on safety promotion initiatives to strengthen awareness and accountability across the organization.

This is a pivotal role where your leadership, technical expertise, and ability to influence change will have a direct impact on the safety performance and operational reliability of Riyadh Air.

About You:

Degree qualified in engineering, safety, or aviation, you will bring at least five years of experience in an airline safety function, including hands-on involvement in safety investigations and demonstrated strength in report writing within Engineering & Maintenance environments. You will hold a B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License and will have completed formal training in accident investigation or a recognized safety investigation qualification.

You are expected to have a strong grasp of GACAR regulations and international safety frameworks, combined with experience in hazard identification, change management, and risk assessment. Proficiency in safety management systems, together with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and regulatory stakeholders, will be essential to your success. Fluency in English is required, while Arabic or additional languages will be an advantage.

Purpose Of The Job
The Reliability Engineering Maintenance Planner is responsible for asset and spares management, preventative maintenance planning and machine history data. They are the site lead for the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and are required to extract information from it to support the decision making of the site engineering manager.

Responsibilities

• Be the site level Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering team in its use and escalate issues as required to the team.
• Ensure the system is run in line with standards and participate in AMET led projects and improvement programms to roll out new functionality, procedures, scheduling or reports.
• Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure technicians are never without the parts they need.
• Ensure the system accurately forecasts and assigned all required preventative maintenance to technicians within the team to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Compile equipment information, performance metrics and machine histories and make recommendations for improvements based on their findings.
• Manage spare parts stock levels, place and track orders as required. Work with procurement and the wider AMET network to find savings or efficiencies.
