Job Description

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for multiple lecturer positions. KFUPM seeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in the area of Data Science, predominantly in the following topics:

  • Data Handling, Regression, Classification, and Clustering

Job Responsibilities

The candidates are expected to:

  • Demonstrate teaching experience
  • Have experience with a programming language, preferably Python and Jupyter notebooks
  • Possess excellent communication skills

Successful candidates are expected to:

  • Engage in high-quality teaching and fulfill the teaching requirements of the department (teach courses and develop lab activities at the undergraduate level)
  • Incorporate recent advancements in their area of study into the courses they will teach
  • Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members that result in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals
  • Participate in service by being active in the life of the department and university, including development of the program, and other duties as needed

Two-year renewable contract. Competitive tax-free salaries based on qualifications and experience. All KFUPM faculty are offered free furnished air-conditioned on-campus housing unit with free essential utilities and maintenance. The appointment includes the following benefits according to the University’s policy: air ticket/s to Dammam upon appointment; annual repatriation air ticket/s for up to four persons; a contribution towards local tuition fees for school-age dependent children; local transportation allowance; two months’ paid summer leave in addition to mid-semester breaks; free health care at KFUPM Clinic; end-of-service gratuity after two (2) years of continuous service. Job Description

The Department of Aerospace Engineering is seeking potential Saudi candidates holding Master degree, for research and teaching purposes.

Job Responsibility

The candidate will be expected to be available for professional duties for approximately ( 35-40 ) hours per week and to carry out teaching, research, academic advising, administrative duties and any other academic duties that will be assigned to the faculty by the academic department concerned. Also he must adhere to any other job responsibilities imposed by the Ministry of Civil Service regulations.

Qualifications

Applicant must have:

  • An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field.
  • A full time Master’s and master’s degrees with very good grades.
  • Certificate equivalency if the certificate obtained from outside the Kingdom.
