Context:
The Lighting SME oversees the design, specification, and installation of road and public area lighting systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, energy efficiency, and aesthetic requirements from pre-construction through installation, commissioning, and the DLP. This position is to be based in Riyadh, KSA.
Missions/Main Duties:
- Review, develop, and optimize lighting design concepts for all project phases.
- Ensure compliance with local and international lighting codes and standards (e.g., IESNA, CIE).
- Advise on selection of lighting fixtures, controls, and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Conduct reviews and approvals of shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of lighting systems.
- Perform night trials and verify lighting performance against design expectations.
- Support resolution of lighting issues during DLP and conduct final inspections.

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology management, systems support, or a related role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale technology implementations, preferably in urban development or infrastructure projects.
Experience in smart city technologies, IoT, and AI integration is highly desirable.
