In your role as a Design Engineer, you will engineer and design applications of medium complexity based on Hilti modular support systems within Hilti’s Installation System Business Unit portfolio. These applications will be based on Hilti’s proprietary software suite "PROFIS MSE (Modular Support Engineering)" and designed under the guidance of the lead engineer and team leader. You will also provide basic engineering of anchor or direct fastening solutions and bill of materials to other Hilti functions (e.g., supply chain) for further processing.

You will derive bill of materials from design work for the wider Hilti team, design modular support solutions, and provide basic engineering of anchor and direct fastening solutions using the Hilti proprietary software suite "PROFIS MSE". Additionally, you will prepare engineering reports for designed applications and collaborate on global and regional projects with different departments within Hilti, such as marketing, sales, and logistics. You will also perform basic value engineering, integrating technical, commercial, and logistics aspects for defined applications.

Finally, as a Design Engineer, you will ensure adherence to relevant codes and Hilti standards in project engineering and ensure the safe and compliant engineering of defined applications.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s Degree is a plus

This position requires a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering school. 2. The incumbent shall implement safety and prevent loss of life & damage to Ministry property at the project site. He shall coordinate with other disciplines to achieve timings in phases of construction activity, meeting target deadlines, and to bring the project to successful completion.
3. The incumbent shall participate in management reporting such as planned activity, actual activity, and work accomplishment in part and/or whole. He shall also make records of as-built drawings for future reference of end user.
4. The incumbent shall ensure that all required installations, testing, and commissioning specified shall be in accordance with code, specifications, and equipment manufacturer’s installation guidelines. He shall witness the required testing and commissioning works performed.
5. The incumbent shall check, record, and inform his Resident Engineer and/or Head of Branch regarding deviations of materials or installation over approved documents. He shall take immediate actions if found that such activities being performed do not conform to the approved documents.
6. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer Wet Utilities with 3+ years of experience to support the planning, design, and detailing of wet utility systems including potable water, stormwater, wastewater, and irrigation networks.
