Key Responsibilities

Issue Investigation & Resolution

Handle escalated tickets from Level 1 support (L1) involving functional or technical issues in web applications.

Reproduce issues in test/staging environments to identify bugs or misconfigurations.

Conduct detailed log analysis, SQL/database checks, and API validation.

Incident Management

Classify and prioritize incidents based on severity and business impact.

Escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 (development team) with proper documentation and root cause findings.

Collaborate with L1 and L3 teams during major incidents and post-incident reviews.

User Support & Communication

Communicate with business users or clients to gather additional information when needed.

Provide workarounds or solutions while permanent fixes are being developed.

Maintain knowledge base and support documentation.

Technical Tasks

Prepare scripts or SQL queries to validate data or resolve issues.

Perform basic configuration changes or updates in non-production environments.

Conduct release verification and smoke testing after deployments.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze recurring issues to suggest long-term fixes or enhancements.

Provide feedback to development/QA teams to improve application stability and usability.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

Strong .net, angular and VB experience

Strong understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Experience with web application architectures (e.g., client/server, REST APIs).

Familiarity with databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ability to write basic queries.

Exposure to version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Role Purpose:

The Associate Manager Electrical Engineering is responsible for leading the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems across food and beverage production facilities. This role will focus on industrial automation, SCADA integration, preventive maintenance, and the continuous digital transformation of operations to ensure high equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation & Control Systems

Lead and oversee industrial automation systems, including SCADA integration, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley), MES domain, and IoT implementation.

Ensure efficient operation of SCADA infrastructure, including servers (application, domain, historian, SAP MII), clients, and PLC networks.

Implement and upgrade control systems for pasteurizers, filler machines, packaging lines, and robotics.

2. Electrical Maintenance Leadership

Supervise and manage daily electrical activities across dairy and beverage production lines.

Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and instrumentation systems.

Lead and mentor a cross-functional maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, and automation).

Monitor and improve key maintenance KPIs including downtime analysis, RCA, and reliability indices.

3. Projects & Commissioning

Lead the end-to-end execution of electrical and automation aspects of new industrial projects.

Oversee installation and commissioning of equipment including milk silos, pasteurizers, filling machines, and wastewater treatment systems.

Ensure project compliance with internal engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Calibration & Compliance

Oversee calibration and certification of field instruments per preventive maintenance plans.

Handle internal and external calibration audits and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Participate in cybersecurity audits (e.g., NCA) and ensure system integrity.

5. Continuous Improvement & SOPs

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production automation and process efficiency.

Develop and document SOPs and lessons learned to support staff development and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

6+ years of experience in industrial automation and electrical maintenance within the food & beverage or manufacturing sector.

Strong hands-on experience with SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware), PLC programming, and control networks.

Solid understanding of project management, commissioning, and operational excellence tools.

Certifications in OSHA, Project Management, PLC Programming, Cybersecurity, and HMI are preferred.
