Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Engineering Manager to join our team in Qiddiya!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations, is expected.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

About the location:

About the Role


We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive Engineering Assistant Manager to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay . Reporting to the Engineering Manager , you will play a vital role in ensuring all engineering systems and infrastructure are ready for the resort's successful opening and seamless operations thereafter. You will assist in leading the engineering team through setup, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance activities, upholding Four Seasons' world-class service and operational excellence standards. The role also involves supervising daily maintenance activities, coordinating schedules, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting the development of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.

What You Will Do

  • Support the review of design specifications, technical drawings, and system installations for operational readiness during the pre-opening phase.

  • Actively participate in commissioning, snagging, system testing, and handover processes for all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and HVAC systems.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Hotsos) and asset management records.

  • Oversee procurement, inventory tagging, and the organization of engineering tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment.

  • Establish and document preventive maintenance schedules and ensure life safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency generators) are fully operational and compliant.

  • Coordinate closely with contractors to ensure successful technical handovers and project closeouts.

  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training the engineering team to ensure readiness and operational excellence.

  • Develop energy management plans and sustainability initiatives aligned with Four Seasons standards.

  • Prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emergency response plans, and departmental operational guidelines.

  • Supervise daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely and high-quality task completion by the technical team.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure facility standards are upheld.

  • Monitor critical systems to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, providing coaching, technical training, and performance feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory codes, safety standards, and Four Seasons quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies such as power outages, water leaks, and system failures to minimize operational disruptions.

  • Support financial management activities, including departmental budgeting, purchasing, and cost control.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field .

  • Minimum 2 years of engineering leadership experience in luxury hotels or resorts, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role .

  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, fire life safety systems, and sustainability initiatives .

  • Previous pre-opening experience in setting up and commissioning hotel/resort facilities is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainability practices.

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills.

  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.

About the location:

Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan being informed by an impressive marine spatial planning simulation to model the environmental impact of development and operations to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. About The Role

Join the prestigious pre-opening team of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea, where luxury meets innovation and sustainability. As the Engineering Administrative Assistant, you will provide vital administrative and organizational support to the Engineering Department. This role ensures the smooth coordination of departmental operations, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with Four Seasons standards and safety protocols.

What You Will Do

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director of Engineering.
  • Manage maintenance records, logs, purchase requests, inventory data, and departmental documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications, maintenance schedules, and work orders.
  • Assist with tracking preventive maintenance tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as requested.
  • Support onboarding and documentation for engineering team members.
  • Ensure all departmental filing and record systems are organized and up to date.
  • Liaise with procurement, finance, and other departments for requisitions and follow-ups.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in Engineering, Facilities, or Hotel Operations.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of CMMS (e.g., HotSOS) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English & Arabic.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.

The Position

This position is at our front lines, actively coordinating between engineering, sales, and our customers. You will assist in supporting our catalog of cybersecurity products from troubleshooting issues for clients who have deployed our products to innovating exciting ways to help us always improve our products. Every day will have interesting new problems to solve across our entire technology stack - from hardware and software applications to managing client cases as the go-to expert. You should be excited to learn, teach, and collaborate! The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provides software application & technical support to clients for our product catalog.
  • Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
  • Documenting new processes and improving existing processes as they come up.
  • Communicate with internal team and supporting teams as necessary.
  • Provides SME Tier 1-2 support on OPSWAT catalog as they exist in client environments.
  • Provides occasional presales and professional service/technical support as needed.
  • Maintains case data in Salesforce and Jira.
  • Reports bugs and flaws to the development team as discovered/encountered.
  • Willing to provide and teach knowledge they have to their team. Willing to learn and grow with knowledge they may lack.

What We Need From You

  • 3 to 5 years of experience (remotely and hands on) in overall troubleshooting of application and environment support including complex client environments.
  • Understanding of networking and systems including OSI model, Purdue Model, RADIUS, Active Directory, Office 365, authentication protocols.
  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and advising using GUI and CLI for Linux.
  • Ability to multitask and react well under pressure in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills with not only your immediate group, but with other internal and customer facing groups.

It Would Be Nice If You Had

  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and advising using GUI and CLI for MacOS, Windows Server, Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Docker, other), Databases (Postgres, SQL, MySQL, other), Email Systems (Exchange, G Suite, other), Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, other), Encryption methods (SSL, TLS, Bitlocker, other) Experience at a tier 2/3 support level.
  • Experience with business or homegrown application support including utilizing and understanding API's (REST, other).
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and software.
  • Experience imaging, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and advising using GUI and CLI for firewalls, routers, switches, hubs, load balancers, servers, desktops, and SAN/NAS. Operation Technology (OT) experience is a plus.
