Able to perform independently capacity and adequacy calculations, foundation, column, grade slab/beam layouts, section and schedules, bar bending schedule, lift station design, road crossings, dike, culvert and railing design including proper paint and coating selection. - Responsible for structural/infrastructure works including different building construction types, building design, equipment foundation design, pipe and cable tray support design.
- Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
- Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
- Supervise engineering work being produced by juniors.
- Conduct and receive trainings related to job as required.
- Planning and completion of work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage.
- Interfaces, coordinates and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.
- Delegation and distribution work as well as manage billability of team.
- Coordinates with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated.

Expected
BS degree in the field of Structural Engineering., MS is recommended
Minimum 10 years of work experience as a structural engineer working in oil & gas, petrochemical industries, design and analysis of offshore structures and project engineering
Strong technical & analytical skills
Experience with onshore structures, such as plant buildings & foundations, & tank foundations, pipe racks, cooling towers, pavements and drainage.
Ability to evaluate different conceptual designs

Designed and led drawing development of an offshore structure / topside module from layout stage to as-built stage.
Demonstrated Teamwork And Leadership Skills Are Essential.

Typical responsibilities
- Safety Philosophy Documents (Firewater & Process Safety).
- Flare Radiation Analysis using Flaresim or other similar software.
- Hydrocarbon Dispersion Analysis using DNV Phast
- Safety Equipment Requirement
- Determination (such as eyewash, safety shower, …etc).
- Plant Escape and Evacuation Procedures and Layouts.
- Plants Building Risk Assessment.
- Performing Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) using Safeti (an adds on to Phast from DNV).
- Firewater demand Calculations.
- Fire fighting system design (both for buildings and equipment).
- Fire network hydraulics (using Pipenet or other commercial software).
- Fire system P&IDs (firewater network and firewater pumps).
- Fire Hazardous Layouts.
- Coverage Layouts (Hydrants and Monitors).
- Active Participation in safety workshops such as PHA, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA.

Expected
- BS in Chemical Engineering with 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in the field
- Basic Knowledge of developing H&MB, PFD's, P&ID's, MSD's
- Ability to perform Hydraulic calculations and various equipment sizing.
- Basic Knowledge in Relief and Blowdown calculations
- Ability of developing Process Simulation

Job Description
Wood is currently hiring a TPE IV- Senior Piping/Pipeline Engineer with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, and petrochemicals industries, having engineering design project experience.
Responsibilities
- Proficient in S3D and 2D software.
- Exposure to stress analysis concepts.
- Responsible for piping design, plant layout, piping stress concepts, and general requirements from construction, maintenance, and operability perspectives.
- Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
- Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
- Supervise engineering work produced by juniors.
- Conduct and receive job-related training as required.
- Plan and complete work within allocated man-hours effectively, avoiding slippage.
- Interface, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members.
- Delegate and distribute work, manage team billability.
- Coordinate with all disciplines to incorporate their inputs into deliverables.
- Visit sites, verify site conditions, and perform as-built activities.
- Manage deliverables submission, quality checks, and record management.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Full knowledge of Aramco, Sabic, and Royal Commission standards.
- Evaluate technical bids, review vendor documents, and manage subcontract scope.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in piping design.
- Ability to prepare plot plans, piping plans, isometrics, stress inputs, support selection, MTOs, pipe calculations, hydrostatic test diagrams, datasheets, cutover plans, material selection, and review 3D models.
