Summary:
Monitor health and safety for BU and keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations, Assessing risk, and design strategies to reduce potential hazards within a workplace, in addition to managing and training other health and safety staff members and investigating and responding to incident reports and creating analytical reports of safety data.
In this role, you will be responsible of:
- Risk Assessment
- Conduct pre implementation risk assessments on works when required and identify risk mitigation measures in conjunction with Lines Leaders.
- Review Risk Assessment and visit sites to assess work for compliance with specifications.
- Corrective Action
- Act as a business resource for HSE related issues
- Provide SHE improvement proposals, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation on NCRs issued
- Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that requirements are complied with.
- Report on departmental performance where repetitive matters are not being addressed
- Communicate effectively and represent the department with local government officials, external government agencies, industry representatives, consultants, non-governmental organizations, department staff, and the public and ensure inspections are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a Technical field such as Engineering, Science or a related field of study from an accredited college or university. US SECRET security clearance required.
- Three+ (3) years of experience supporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI.
- Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers (i.e., not for US military bases or USG facilities).

- Experience interacting with USG and foreign senior military/government officials.
- Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCM-C.
- DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

Key Accountabilities
- Prepare, review, and update the Project Schedule/s from bidding stage 'till close-out stage.
- Prepare regular Project performance reports and produce measures to support schedule progress.

- Conduct Yard Capacity Planning (for Zones A & D2) based on info received from current Projects, Business Development in coordination with Zone A, Zone C, and Asset Management & Marine Operation Teams; Identify / Report back potential issues and risk with proposed mitigations.
- Conduct manpower planning based on Yard Capacity and Area planning. Coordinate with Zones A, B, & C planning team and HR on path forward.
- Update schedule (s), perform forecast in coordination with stake holders (engineering, P&SC, production, commissioning, Subcontractor).
- Monitor project's progress and produce daily, weekly, monthly reports. Highlight areas of concern and propose mitigations.
- Carry out schedule risk analysis as and when required. Maintain Risk Register.
- Monitor potential of Change Management (internal / customer / supplier) and update the PMT.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by head of department.

Education
- Batchelor's Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)
- PMP Certificate preferable (but not essential).
- Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certificate preferable.
