Dataiku is looking for an Engagement Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual passionate about deploying big data technologies and using data science to solve business problems, and who will efficiently help customers drive their projects to get the most out of Dataiku DSS.
As a part of the Global Services team, the Engagement Manager is responsible for driving smooth client implementations of our product.
This position is open for full remote work from Riyadh, KSA. While all applications will be considered, priority will be given to Saudi nationals.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Effectively project-manage the delivery to our clients of Dataiku's suite of professional services: such services include assisted software installation, customer training/coaching, and full development of data science projects for our customers
- Maintain consistent and concise internal communication across multiple teams
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, both within Dataiku and among our customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the implementation process and minimise the time-to-value for our customers
- Contribute to the standardisation of our implementation processes while Dataiku continues its rapid growth
- Set up our customers for success using Dataiku DSS from day one
- Contribute to the selling of services in the region
Your skilled coordination of the deployment, training, and adoption of best practices will position our Customers and Partners to derive the maximum value from the software, contributing to their data-driven operational success.
What you'll need to be successful
- 3+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science projects, or consulting
- English - fluent, Arabic - native
- Demonstrated project management skills including leadership, communication, and customer management (Experience providing customer training is a plus)
- Experience in project managing complex projects and difficult stakeholders
- An interest in staying current on the latest techniques (Python, R, Scala, Hadoop, Spark, H2O, SQL…)
- Experience in enterprise data projects and familiarity with advanced analytics technologies are a plus
- Ability to explain data science concepts.
- You must be technically-minded, but you don't have to be an engineer to do well here
- Organised, process-oriented, and resourceful
- Bachelor's degree required
- PMP certification or similar training is a plus

What you get to do in this role:
The Engagement Manager oversees the on time, on budget delivery of the defined solution scope to meet the customer's desired results. This requires the EM to complete the project following ServiceNow's leading practice methodology, NowCreate, working in collaboration with the customer project team and any involved partner, ensuring governance is followed to gain team member support for the project, including risk and issue mitigation. The EM is also responsible for assembling and leading the ServiceNow resources on the project making sure they understand the planned tasks, tracking actual progress, and managing deviations through appropriate measures.
- Lead the delivery team throughout the engagement, often in collaboration with a services partner.

ASSOCIATE:
Break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identifying the key aspects of a problem and directing the focus of junior consultants to those elements. You will effectively plan and execute analysis as well as identify the core issues in complex analyses in order to be able to craft suitable recommendations. You'll work side by side with clients and your project team members to move projects forward and manage small teams to get the work done. Clients and colleagues look to Associates for unique insight into the subject area which they have chosen.
ENGAGEMENT MANAGERS
are the on-scene leaders who run our projects day to day. You will lead your team through an efficient and effective problem-solving process from initial hypothesis collection to convergence on a solution. You will ensure that recommendations are practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive. It's a role that demands thought leadership at the strategic level – and command of all the technical and operational details of execution. You will need great communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships.
Your Attributes And Experience
Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise. The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
- A degree from a top academic program
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).
- Experience in leading projects in the governmental/ public sector institutions, ideally in the GCC region
- Relevant experience in the Sports and Entertainment sector and relevant entities (government, SWFs, federations, leagues and clubs) across strategy, investment, operations and public policy.
- A track record of leading and managing teams and clients, and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
- A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
- Outstanding communication skills; comfort in presenting to senior executives, both internally and to clients
- A strong can-do attitude, willingness to take the initiative, curiosity and desire to learn
- Arabic language is a plus
- Willingness to travel
