OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Energy Optimization Specialist to work for Decarbonization and Sustainability Division (D&SD) to render Energy optimization and performance aspects.
The D&SD provides engineering expertise in energy efficiency and optimization for both process and utility systems in Global Manufacturing Excellence Organization’s oil, refining and gas plants.
Your primary role will be to handle energy management compliance and improve energy efficiency of multiple operating facilities from Global Manufacturing Portfolio. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on high priority energy engineering and management issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct process improvement, modification and conceptual design.
- Conduct energy optimization studies at existing and new oil and gas facilities.
- Audit and review existing facilities to identify improvement opportunities, potential problems, and remedies to existing problems by working closely with refineries, gas plants and oil processing facilities and engineering organizations.
- Participate in studies and investigations in collaboration with other Saudi Aramco and outside organizations related to new and existing facilities and systems.
- Conduct simulation studies using Saudi Aramco licensed software packages covering process simulation software.
- Familiar with energy saving technologies for energy intensive equipment.
- Deliver presentations to an international audience of experts and publish technical papers.
- Develop energy efficiency roadmap for oil and gas refineries.
- Develop energy baseline and Energy KPIs to analyze the energy performance.
- Ensure energy compliance and efficiency of each operating facility.
- Develop and maintain Energy Policy, documents and procedures.
- Work with refinery energy team to identify energy saving opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy efficient operations.
- Analyze and monitor refinery energy use on a daily basis and conduct energy audits.
- Monitor refinery energy intensity indicators and control them toward energy efficiency.
- Conduct jobsite observation, field inspections or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses.
- Conduct internal energy benchmarking studies among the oil and gas refineries.
- Organize technical exchange workshops among the oil and gas refineries and develop and deliver training material to promote energy awareness among refinery personnel.
- A B.S. degree in Engineering. A M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical / Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or other advanced professional engineering degrees is preferred.
- 17 years of experience in process simulation applications in refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries.
- Proficient in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of energy engineering.
- Familiarity or hold ISO-50001 Energy Management Standard and Requirement.
- Working knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes.
- Familiarity with development of energy efficiency roadmap, energy baseline and setting targets of energy key performance indicators.
- Strong data collection and data analytic experience to observe the energy saving opportunities and advise for better energy performance.
- Excellent computer skills as well as excellent oral/written presentation skills.
- Strong management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist with Refinery Experience to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence organization to work under the Decarbonization and Sustainability Division to work on environmental protection and performance aspects.
Decarbonization and Sustainability Division provides support to Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing wholly owned and affiliates’ facilities in assessing and advising on the deployment and adoption of decarbonization, energy and environmental programs and initiatives. This includes identifying and analyzing operational challenges and developing engineering solutions to improve energy efficiency and GHG emissions.
Your primary role is to provide expert guidance and support in establishing environmental business plans objectives and emission baselines, developing solutions to environmental problems, conducting environmental performance calculations, daily monitoring and reporting, collecting and analyzing data to observe the GHG reduction opportunities, advising to improve the performance, and identifying deviations and developing solutions to environmental problems. Strong management and coordination skills are necessary to lead and work with environmental teams in operating facilities under the Global Manufacturing Excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor facility operating and business plans objectives are consistent and in-line with Saudi Aramco environmental protection policy and all applicable environmental policies, GIs and standards.
- Identify deviations and developing solutions to environmental problems to ensure mitigation of facilities environmental risk and improve compliance to company and governmental environmental regulations.
- Conduct full potential GHG and environmental assessment and provide recommendations.
- Develop, review and implement Green House Gas management.
- Conduct internal GHG assessment in preparation for facilities such as refineries, NGL fractionation plants, and petrochemical plants and lube manufacturing plants.
- Monitor the solids and chemical disposals to guarantee a safe environmental protection in compliance with governmental regulations.
- Monitor air quality, waste water and water conservation, waste management performance.
- Develop, review and deployment of facilities environmental management system in alignment with ISO 14001.
- Develop and maintain Environmental procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct internal environmental performance benchmarking studies among the oil and gas, refineries.
- Stay abreast of international and regional regulations concerning emissions, waste management, water and waste water, GHG to ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including field engineers, top-level executives, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment with industry needs.
- Analyze complex data sets related to emissions, equipment efficiency, and other relevant parameters, deriving actionable insights for enhancement.
- You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- You will have at least 17 years of experience in oil and gas refineries, petrochemical. EPI/QEP certified professional are preferred.
- You will have knowledge of the oil & gas, refining industry and its environmental challenges and risks.
- You will have knowledge of global / governmental environmental policies, regulations and standards.
- You will have expertise in technical sustainability data, calculation methodology and limitations.
- You will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of environmental engineering.
- You will be familiar with ISO-14001 Environmental Management System and Requirement.
- You will be familiar with development of decarbonization roadmap, GHG emission baseline and target setting.

Power Plant Manager
Position : Power Plant Manager
Duties
+ Direct all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure high availability and reliability of plant assets. Oversee mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams to support safe and efficient operations.
+ Ensure effective use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP) for planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of all maintenance activities
+ Lead the assets registrations activities to ensure proper assets system registry
+ Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture by enforcing compliance with regulations, conducting regular audits, and leading by example in safe work practices.
+ Act as the first point of contact in front of the power plant operations and client communications
Qualification
+ 15 to 20 years of extensive maintenance experience in power plants maintenance.
+ A bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
+ Proven expertise in leading and managing large workforces.
+ Experience in gas turbines, generators, and electrical systems.
+ Strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with their expectations and objectives.
+ Experience in maintenance CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) , preferably SAP
+ Comprehensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management, promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with industry standards.
+ Familiarity with maintenance and business KBIs to drive performance and achieve contractual deliverables effectively.
+ Extensive knowledge of contractual frameworks, terms, and conditions to ensure seamless contract execution and client satisfaction.
Additional Requirements
+ Experience in Siemens turbines
+ SAP Certification or formal training in CMMS tools
+ Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
+ Training or certification in turbines maintenance
+ Nationality: Saudi, Middle Eastern, European, or Asian
+ Capable of leading a workforce of 50 to 80 personnel
