Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

You must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field; an advanced degree is preferred but not essential.

• Experience: At least 15 years in the hydrocarbon or chemical industry, with significant expertise in hydrogen production and purification technologies (such as Electrolysis, Steam Methane Reforming (SMR), Autothermal Reforming (ATR), Gasification/Partial Oxidation (POX), Water-Gas Shift, and PSA systems). Hands-on experience in commissioning or operating hydrogen units is crucial.

• Design Proficiency: Strong design background, capable of representing the company in interactions with licensors or EPC contractors during feasibility and engineering stages of hydrogen projects.

• Assist Client to incorporate equipment models provided by EPC contractor into the TRANSCO network PSSE & PSCAD models suitable for various planning studies (steady state and dynamics).

• The power system studies review work shall briefly include, but not limited to the following:

• Reactive power capability study

• Grid impact study

• Transient and dynamic stability studies

• Insulation co-ordination study

• Switching transient study

• Faulted transient switching study

• Transformer Energization study
