Job Summary:

Contribute to initiate, plan, and execute projects that enable renewable energy technologies and applications for deployment and commercialization in the Kingdom either by advancement through higher levels of TRL or by testing, modification, or adaptation of standards for mature technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Review the plans and programs that have been put for the development of renewable energy programs and technologies in order to make recommendations in a way that contributes to meeting the needs of Saudi Arabia in these sectors.
• Review the main developments in the renewable energy field to assess the technologies developed in this area, suggest scientific methods and implement the most suitable ones.
• Identify and benchmark world-class renewable energy technologies and programs, assessing their feasibility for localization and integration into Saudi Arabia's energy ecosystem.
• Provide the needed technical support to analyze reports issued by the Studies and Research Sector on the renewable energy sector.
• Provide recommendations on utilizing programs and technologies in a way that allows benefitting from them in the renewable energy sector.
• Study the challenges that may raise during implementing the development plans of the renewable energy sector programs and technologies and recommend practices to overcome those challenges.
• Lead in-depth studies on energy demand forecasting and sustainability-driven solutions to enhance Saudi Arabia's energy security and transition toward a diversified energy mix.
• Provide the needed support to develop and implement renewable energy agreements and projects by thoroughly studying the technologies used in implementing those projects and agreements.
• Carry out any other related tasks or responsibilities as requested by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in a related field.

Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences, Renewable Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Job Summary:

Support the implementation and coordination of projects related to technology operations and applications within the energy and environmental domains. Ensure all activities align with organizational policies, technical standards, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and applications relevant to small and medium-scale renewable energy technologies, including cooling, heating, and water desalination technologies, assessing their potential benefits, limitations, and associated risks.
2. Contribute to the analysis and review of tools, platforms, and systems used in technical operations and recommend enhancements to improve infrastructure and performance.
3. Support the assessment of technical and operational requirements for renewable energy operation and application development projects and determine priorities in accordance with the national strategies and K.A.CARE's strategy or ongoing projects, helping to prioritize tasks in line with organizational strategies.
4. Coordinate project-related activities and communications with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and aligned execution.
5. Participate in the calibration, validation, and quality assurance of equipment, data, and projects to maintain accurate results and compliance with standards.
6. Prepare technical reports explaining the status and progress of renewable energy applications and business development projects and submit them to the direct supervisor.
7. Continuously identify best international practices and procedures in renewable energy production to realize the visions and approaches of K.A.CARE and the Kingdom.
8. Maintain documentation, records, and reports for all projects and ensure data integrity and accessibility for audits or reviews.
9. Carry out other related tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Preferred Skills :

1. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, or equivalent)
2. Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, or equivalent) for modeling, automation, or data handling.
