The selected engineer will also be responsible for understanding and supporting Measurement and Verification (M&V) processes and for developing energy-saving solutions grounded in robust scientific and engineering principles. The role includes preparing comprehensive technical reports detailing findings, issues, and progress for submission to the supervisor.
- Conduct energy studies in accordance with ASHRAE standards.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for potential clients.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing plans for energy efficiency offerings.
- Perform data collection, processing, and analysis for preliminary energy studies in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Develop and implement M&V plans for energy savings performance contracting (ESPC) projects at various facilities.
- Calculate savings and performance analysis based on scientific and engineering principles, with reporting and presentations for customers.
- Inspect and measure the implemented energy management solutions to ensure proper installation and commissioning.
- Support Measurement & Verification plans as per international guidelines (IPMVP).
Requirements
- BSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy field.
- Good English writing skills for comprehensive proposals and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Word, PPT, Excel) and simulation software (RETScreen Expert, IESVE, etc.)
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) certifications are mandatory.
