Job Description
Performs overhaul and repair of mechanical and pneumatic plant or equipment related to medical gas distribution system. Position may require rotation on various shifts.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Repair and/or replaces mechanical faults on terminal units, line regulators, zone boxes and minor fault on electrically controlled Line pressure alarm.
2. Carry out oxy-acetylene welding procedure of medical gas pipeline usingenert gas shielding.
3. Carry out installation, maintenance and repair works on pipe medical gases, medical compressed air and medical vacuum installation.
4. Installs new equipment and systems as required for adaptation projects.
5. Carry out maintenance and repair of liquid oxygen plant and high pressure cylinder manifolds.
6. Maintains records of work performed.
7. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.
8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
**Education**:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
OR
Technical Diploma in related field is required.
**Experience Required**:
Two (2) years of experience directly related to Medical Gas System with B.S Degree is required.
Four (4) years of experience directly related to Medical Gas System with Technical Diploma.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Saudi Driver’s License - A driver’s license from country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi Driver’s License.

A Sterilization Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical and surgical tools used in hospitals to avoid spreading of germs and infection.
Accountabilities
- Decontamination of surgical and medical instruments.
- Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.

These items are held in storage and then distributed,along with prepackaged, pre sterilized supplies,using a distribution cart to the various patient care areas of the hospital including the operating rooms and dental clinics

Grade 7:

Grade 8:
Four (4) years of experience in KFSHRC as CSSD Technician.
Average performance evaluation 4.3 or more.

Ability to read, write, and verbally communicates in English.
