JOB PURPOSE:
Lincoln College International (LCI) is seeking a specialist trainer with expertise in electronics, embedded systems, PCB manufacturing, and automation, strongly emphasizing automated production lines and industrial control systems. This role is instrumental in delivering hands-on training in key technologies in defense electronics, industrial automation and advanced manufacturing. The successful candidate will prepare, deliver, and assess training supporting the progression of trainees into specialist roles within the industry. Due to the sensitive nature of this role, candidates will be required to undergo enhanced background security checks as part of the recruitment process. Good competency in English is mandatory. Non-native candidates must provide proof of English competency through IELTS, TOEFL, STEP, or a similar language exam. An offer of employment will be made subject to final approval from the client .
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Training & Course Delivery
· Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in a range of modules, including:
Electronics Diagnostics and Testing
Microcontroller and Embedded Systems Technology
PCB Manufacturing and Assembly
Industrial Automation and Control Systems
Automated Production Lines in Chemical and Defense Manufacturing
Instrumentation and Advanced Circuit Design
· Design and implement engaging, hands-on lessons, workshops, and assessments that align with industry standards and best practices.
· Ensure training is industry-focused, with a strong emphasis on real-world applications and technical competencies.
· Assess trainees’ practical and theoretical understanding, providing structured feedback to support learning and skill development.
· Maintain high teaching and learning quality standards through peer reviews and lesson observations.
· Actively engage and motivate trainees, fostering technical excellence and professional behaviour.
Course & Program Development
· Manage course content and success rates, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
· Develop and refine training materials to align with industry advancements and regulatory requirements.
· Contribute to developing and enhancing LCI’s training programs, ensuring they remain at the cutting edge of technology and best practices.
Quality Assurance & Assessment
· Conduct assessments and internal verification and maintain documentation in compliance with LCI policies.
· Ensure the safety, functionality, and upkeep of training equipment, tools, and lab facilities.
Trainee Engagement & Support
· Organize enrichment activities, including industry visits, guest lectures, and hands-on projects.
· Support the selection, recruitment, and enrollment of trainees into LCI programs.
· Provide guidance, mentorship, and career support to trainees, ensuring their success in the program and progression into employment.

Collaboration & Professional Development

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
Essential Requirements
· Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in electronics manufacturing, embedded systems, PCB assembly or automation, ideally in a chemical manufacturing, explosives production or defense electronics environment.
· Minimum of Diploma (or equivalent) in Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Automation Technology or a related field. Or a recognized professional certification in a related field, for example:
§ IPC Certified Electronics Technician
§ Certified PCB Design and Manufacturing Specialist
§ Certified Automation Professional
§ Siemens PLC Programmer Certification
· Excellent communication skills and motivation to engage and inspire trainees (A CEFR B1 ability in English is required).
· Enhanced security clearance will be required.
· Understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices.
Desirable Requirements
· Experience in one or more of the following systems: Analog and digital electronics testing & troubleshooting, RF / Microwave and Optoelectronic testing, Microcontroller programming and embedded systems, Automated testing equipment and robotics integration.

Continues Professional Development
· Candidates without a formal teaching qualification will be expected to complete a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (supported by LCI) within six months of starting. Those meeting the minimum educational qualifications but lacking work experience may be considered for the Saudi Junior Teacher Development Program.

- Ensure ICAO, FAA and local code compliance of runway/taxiway airfield systems designs.
- Take the lead in managing airport special system design and engineering review from the initial design stage to construction and operation & maintenance.
- Demonstrate proven project management skills in design, scope control, schedule management, and cost control in airport design and construction.
- Show expertise in dealing with various types of contracts such as Lump sum, Design and Build (D&B), and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and closure services of airport projects.
- Oversee the field installation and testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance, and operational readiness services for various airport-wide ICT network
- Ensure all systems meet the required quality and safety standards, regulations, and laws.
- Perform baseline design and peer review of various systems, ensuring they are ready for construction and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Electronics or Communication Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Extensive experience in the design, engineering, and integration of a wide range of special airport systems.
- Proficient in FIDIC contracts such as Lump sum, D&B and EPC.
- Exceptional project management skills, including project design and control in change/scope, schedule, and costs for airport design and construction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
