**Job purpose**

Responsible to the Departmental Director, for the management and coordination of all Al Jawf Class, Mine Hunter, Marine Propulsion, Mechanical and Electrical System issues. Provide expertise to the RSNF in areas of Marine Propulsion, Mechanical and Electrical Systems Engineering ship design, modification and engineering changes. Conduct in depth engineering analysis of defects/deficiencies.

**Job accountabilities**
- Assess all proposed Engineering Changes, Modifications, Technical Instructions and related acceptance activities associated with the Marine Propulsion, Mechanical and Electrical Systems, onboard the Al Jawf Class and its shore side supporting facilities, including the Specialised Shore Side Workshops.
- Conduct in depth analysis of onboard systems, equipment failures or deficiencies to determine cause and make recommendations for corrective measures, modification to maintenance routines or changes in operating procedures.
- Responsible for the production of RSNF Requirements and Specifications for future modifications, review and propose amendments to the subsequent Work Package from the contractor.
- Oversee acceptance and commissioning of equipment / systems as required.
- Compile Engineering Briefs for RSNF Officers.
- Lead level 3 Technical Meetings and contribute to level 2 Technical Meetings as a SME. Attend other meetings and liaise with other Directorates of the RSNF, as required.
- Comply with all RSNF directives safety procedures and maintain confidentiality of RSNF and Hunter Project data at all times.

Essential:

- Educated to degree level in Engineering or an equivalent professional Engineering qualification.
- In depth knowledge of Marine Propulsion, Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
- Mine Hunter Engineering experience.
- Experience in various stages of the Engineering Design process and equipment Life Cycle Management.
- Experience of Engineering Safety and Workplace Health & Safety.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of Single Role Mine Hunter operations.

• Identify and analyze system integration problems

• Resolve server issues by identifying root cause and then doing immediate remedial actions

• Formulate and implement corrective actions in case problem re-occurs

• Formulate and implement preventive actions to prevent the issue from happening again

• Identify tasks that are recurrent and recommend tools to automate those tasks

• On-call for support cases

The Inside Systems Engineer is responsible for working closely with the Inside Sales department and to help inform, educate and influence partners, resellers and end users of our product offerings. Responsibilities include the ability to present Veeam messaging to varying numbers and levels of decision makers. You will be responsible for the creation of content and delivery of demonstrations to support Veeam messaging. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent Veeam Inside Systems Engineer with an ability to partner with other groups within the sales and support organization to close sales. The role requires strengths and a background in defining architectural strategies to guide customers toward the adoption of Veeam technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual customer meeting presentations and demonstrations
  • Implement and manage POCs to technical closure
  • Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
  • Collaborate with the customer/partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
  • Independently consult with customer base to provide technical expertise on data protection
  • Work closely with the sales department to secure new partners and customers
  • Work closely with Product Management to provide customer feedback
  • Providing pre-sales support to customers as they evaluate Veeam software
  • Trains/mentors junior staff
  • Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions or procedures
  • Acts as point-of-reference for new hires and peer colleagues

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated customer-facing technical experience is preferred Industry-based experience with data protection technologies
  • Industry based experience in storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies strongly desired
  • Basic experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks
  • Basic experience in data life-cycle management with IT audit requirements is preferred
  • Basic experience with virtualization technologies
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Excellent time management skills required
  • Deployment of software solutions into complex environments
  • Understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups
  • Industry relevant professional certifications are desirable
  • English / Arabic written and spoken

The Systems Engineer Intern will get involved in design and work involvedly on live projects. You will provide support for Systems & Solutions assigned products and services including, but not limited to, control system programming, control system graphics development, diagnostics, and project execution.

**What will be my primary responsibilities in this role:
- To configure the Hardware/software and Implement the DCS, PLC and RTU Programs.
- To create the database for the DCS, PLC, RTU and SCADA configuration.
- To understand the Engineering documents as per the Saudi Aramco standards.
- To understand the various communication protocols like Modbus, DNP, BASP, OPC etc.
- To have knowledge on Instrumentation standards, P&IDs
- To understand the P&IDs and design the graphics as per the project requirements
- To perform the Pre-FAT and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
- To report progress and technical problems to Lead Engineers / Engineering Manager.
- To have Good analytical skills to solve the issues.
- To involve from Project starting phase to Execution phase which includes Design Engineering, Project Planning, testing, Execution, Troubleshooting.
- To review the drawings.
- To follow the Emerson Quality standards.
