We are seeking a skilled
Electrical Systems Trainer
to deliver hands-on and theoretical training to technical trainees in Riyadh. The role focuses on applied electrical and electronic systems training in a modern vocational/industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver training in electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, diagnostics, and PCB assembly.
- Prepare lesson plans, workshops, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
- Support trainees with mentoring, progress monitoring, and feedback.
- Ensure equipment and labs are maintained to safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical or electronics systems (manufacturing/defense preferred).
- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics / Avionics Technology.
- Strong English communication (CEFR B1+ or equivalent).
- Must be readily available to join and able to pass background/security checks.

Job Purpose
Ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical backup systems across DACO's airport infrastructure. Support the reliable performance of generators, UPS systems, batteries, and emergency lighting to ensure continuous operations during power outages and critical incidents.
Position Accountability
Description Generators, UPS, Batteries, and Emergency Lights
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all electrical backup systems, including generators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and emergency lighting, ensuring full operational readiness.
Monitor the operation of backup power systems to ensure seamless transitions during power outages and maintain continuous power to critical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical backup systems, coordinating with vendors and service providers for advanced repairs or replacements when necessary.
Ensure compliance with DACO's safety regulations and electrical standards, updating and maintaining all electrical backup systems in line with industry best practices.
Assist in the installation and setup of new electrical backup systems, ensuring proper configuration and integration with existing systems.
Monitor the fuel supply and condition for generators, ensuring they are ready for immediate use in case of emergencies.
Ensure that batteries and UPS systems are tested and maintained regularly to prevent downtime and enhance system reliability.
Compliance and Best Practices
Ensure all electrical backup systems comply with local and international electrical and safety regulations, as well as DACO's internal policies.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and updates to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal audits.
Assist in preparing documentation for compliance inspections and audits conducted by regulatory authorities or internal audit teams.
Incident Management
Respond promptly to electrical power outages or system malfunctions, ensuring the immediate activation of backup systems to minimize operational disruptions.
Participate in emergency response drills, ensuring electrical backup systems support the operational needs during critical incidents.
Assist in the coordination of system testing for emergency power transfers, ensuring all critical systems have backup power in place. Team Collaboration and Learning
Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and provide support, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Engage in continuous learning by seeking feedback, attending training sessions, and staying updated on industry trends in electrical backup systems.
