The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleBased onsite at our plant in Dammam (Saudi Arabia), we are looking for a Reliability Engineer specialized in Electrical/Systems. They will be a part of the Facility Operations team which is dedicated to ensure that all Electrical/System/Controls (BMS) assets perform safely and at ultimate level of performance.
As a key contributor to our reliability efforts, this position will have a comprehensive and analytical approach to predict, prevent, eliminate or reduce equipment failures through application of current reliability techniques. Also, they will design and implement reliability improvement standards, on-going training and education, and equipment modifications in order to achieve world class maintenance reliability.
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for full Life Cycle Asset Management and for keeping our deployed technology systems current.
Primary Responsibilities- Technically responsible for part of / all electrical components of the plant
- Perform failure mode and effect analysis to assure the proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs are implemented, audited and improved on all existing and future assets
- Application of Reliability Based Maintenance programs such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Assess & develop capability of systems and multiskilled crafts on their role in reliability improvement and to advance their technical capabilities
- Analyze data (failure, cost, uptime, etc.) using appropriate reliability analysis tools to develop & implement improvement plans
- Serve as the equipment reliability Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the business and lead reliability improvement teams
- Manage and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) detailing all the results of the reliability programs activities
- Provide leadership support for Maintenance Conscious Engineering strategies
- Perform & document equipment criticality analysis in support of an effective critical spares strategy
- Participate in the Management of Change process to optimize the reliability of new equipment or processes
- Submit recommendations and justification for capital expenditures that support and improve the Reliability Program
- Provide an external awareness of methods and technologies that advance our own internal body of knowledge for the improvement of our operations reliability
- Able to interface with and troubleshoot the following motor control equipment properly and safely: motor starters, run relays; Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs); Servo motors and controls
- Able to interface with and troubleshoot Allen Bradley, Siemens and other plant PLC's including: connecting to the PLC, reading ladder logic, programming, diagnosing hardware and software problems
- Effectively maintain programming, hardware networking and communication; troubleshoot, determine causes of failure and perform corrective actions
- Knowledge of electrical distribution, proper maintenance practices for safe and effective operations, and identification of necessary renewal
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering related discipline from an accredited University
- Professional reliability credentials such as: Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician
- Prior experience with PLC’s and must be able to read and understand various types of PLC logic and programming structures
- Experience with maintaining high voltage systems and electrical distribution
- Experience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM)
- High level of understanding and ability to use analytical tools and troubleshooting
- Good communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Understanding of safety components (Relays, I/O, controllers) and ability to troubleshoot safety circuits
- Basic understanding of Robotics Systems and emerging technologies with troubleshooting and programming experience
- Onsite Dammam (must be able to commute and reach the Plant at short notice and work extra time when needed)

- Design of dry utilities (Power and Telecom) for infrastructure projects.
- Preparation of single-line diagrams, cable route layouts, dry utilities and street lighting layouts, earthing calculation and layouts, load schedules.
- Lead design of electrical system deliverables and calculations including single-line diagrams, cable route layouts, dry utilities and street lighting layouts, earthing calculations and layouts, load schedules, Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies.
- Prepare design calculations and drawings, technical reports and presentations, tender documentation and specifications.
- Assist with the evaluation of tender documents and material submittals.
- Manage other engineers and designers and mentor graduate engineers.
- Monitor and report progress against time and budget; ensure compliance with design and QA procedures.
- Conduct site visits for data collection and verification; provide on-site assistance during commissioning as required.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree related to Electrical Engineering (verifiable).
- 8–12 years of design experience, with a minimum of 8 years in GCC (preferably KSA) in professional electrical engineering, particularly in the water/wastewater and infrastructure sector; experience with interns may count toward this.
- Chartered from a recognized institute, or working toward chartered status.
- Strong understanding of BIM design workflows, particularly Revit.
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills for client, interdisciplinary, and vendor coordination, and coordination with other work-share offices.
- General knowledge of industry practices and Middle East standards applicable to electrical engineering.
- Experience with authorities' liaison and NOC approvals (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA).
- Experience with industry calculation tools such as ETAP, Amtech, Dialux, AGI.
- Commitment to personal development and enhancing the technical expertise of company staff through training and development.
- Periodic travel to offices within the MENAI region may be required.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Design Review Engineer to oversee and review IBS site design packages, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with contractors and customers for design approvals in line with SLA targets.
• Review Final Design Engineering Documents (FDED) and IBS site design drawings/calculations (architectural, civil, electrical, and electromechanical) before submission to the customer’s design team
• Coordinate with design offices and contractors, providing QC comments and ensuring rectifications
• Prepare site-specific detailed scope of works and BOQ for Civil, Electrical, and Electro-Mechanical works for FDED approval
• Address customer comments on design documents and manage resubmissions until final approval is obtained
• Monitor submittals and CFDED approvals, updating records and design reports
• Ensure Civil Final Detailed Engineering Designs (CFDED) meet project specifications, customer processes, and SLA targets
• Collaborate with the Design Manager on all design document approvals and rejections
• Apply knowledge of American standard codes of design practice
• Conduct technical follow-ups with contractors
• Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and scope confirmations with customer and project teams
• Provide technical solutions for IBS site CME (Civil/Electrical/Electromechanical) parts based on RF design inputs
• Conduct site joint visits/surveys with customers, contractors, and project teams for technical discussions
• Attend technical meetings with customers and stakeholders
• Prepare CME BoQ estimates based on provided design inputs
• Supervise and monitor key project sites to ensure implementation matches approved designs and BoQs
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in IBS Indoor Solution Design Infrastructure Projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office tools for project execution
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical and electro-mechanical design review processes
• Experience working with customer and contractor teams in a project environment
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• Additional certifications in design or project management are an advantage

We are inviting applications from candidates who have experience working as Electrical Design Engineer in heavy engineering industries for the genset manufacturing division.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual design and finalize it with the Lead Electrical Design Engineer / Engineering Manager
- Do design calculations as necessary and cost estimates & preliminary designs when requested
- Analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting of internal or supplier electrical systems and/or sub-systems of all projects and tasks of small to medium scope.
- Development of modelling simulation and analysis. Produces the design requirements and designs for electrical systems and/or sub-systems with all projects and tasks of small to medium scope.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Prepare electrical part of the BOM's when asked by the Lead Electrical Design Engineer / Engineering Manager
- Create new component part numbers and prepare purchasing specs
- Coordinate with mechanical design engineers to accomplish the tasks
- To understand and comply with the procedures associated with ISO 9001
- Conducts basic engineering studies requiring little evaluation or ingenuity
- Provide technical support as & when required
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Good communication skills in English/Arabic.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and standards
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Electrical Engineer out of which 2 years of experience in designing & development solutions for the power generations industry.
