We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Design Review Engineer to oversee and review IBS site design packages, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with contractors and customers for design approvals in line with SLA targets.

• Review Final Design Engineering Documents (FDED) and IBS site design drawings/calculations (architectural, civil, electrical, and electromechanical) before submission to the customer’s design team

• Coordinate with design offices and contractors, providing QC comments and ensuring rectifications

• Prepare site-specific detailed scope of works and BOQ for Civil, Electrical, and Electro-Mechanical works for FDED approval

• Address customer comments on design documents and manage resubmissions until final approval is obtained

• Monitor submittals and CFDED approvals, updating records and design reports

• Ensure Civil Final Detailed Engineering Designs (CFDED) meet project specifications, customer processes, and SLA targets

• Collaborate with the Design Manager on all design document approvals and rejections

• Apply knowledge of American standard codes of design practice

This position requires a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school. The incumbent shall have a minimum of 8 years of experience in design of electrical engineering works, of which 3 years shall have been in a project engineer or supervisory capacity. The experience shall have included involvement with and/or directly responsible for the design of significant projects covering a broad spectrum of electrical projects. Familiarity with U.S., European and Saudi Arabian Standards and Codes is required for this position.

The incumbent shall serve as Electrical Engineer under the direct supervision of the Head of Branch. In this capacity, shall work on a wide variety of electrical design and technical review of projects. As Electrical Engineer, the incumbent shall be responsible for the technical review and design of electrical engineering projects from schematic development through to concept and final design. This will include preparation of presentation documentation graphics and database for basic and alternative designs, as required.

1. The incumbent shall be thoroughly familiar with latest trends in materials, equipment, systems and methods of construction, installation and operation in the field of electrical engineering.
2. Electrical engineering design and technical review responsibilities shall include, but not limited to; substation and transmission, both overhead and underground up to 35 KV prime and standby power generation; lighting, both interior and exterior; building services, fire protection, communications, building automation and security system, cathodic protection, protective relaying and controls, lightning protection and grounding.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.

GEO is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Riyadh office. The candidate will lead the design and coordination of electrical systems for major industrial, logistics, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing electrical designs from concept through construction while ensuring full compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.

• Lead the development of electrical design drawings and documentation for LV, MV, and ELV systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, fire alarm, structured cabling, and control systems.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, civil, architectural, and other disciplines.
• Ensure all designs meet local authority regulations (SEC, Civil Defense, NCEC, etc.) and international codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc.).
• Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, short circuit studies, and lighting calculations using specialized software (e.g., ETAP, Dialux, Amtech).
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, tender documents, and design narratives.
