We're looking for an Electrical Technician for Riyadh, who will be focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. You will coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures and, also conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulation. You will provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.

What you'll do:

• Perform mechanical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and work instructions including A & B service, green carding / post contract assessment & pre-delivery inspection, engine fault finding / repair and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics as required.
• Assist with site installation (to designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards if needed.
• Respond effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.
• Ensure the completion of equipment repairs are on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
• Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.

You'll have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the Electrical field. Experience in the Mechanical field a plus.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel / gas generators and their axillaries.
• Minimum 3 to 5 Years of Experience in Diesel Engine OEM, Rental power company or Utility maintenance comprising DG set, chillers etc.
• Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings.
• Availability to travel as and when required.
• Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
• Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly and Installation.
• Assemble and install Siemens SIVACON S8 components, wiring, and systems in low voltage panels according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Wire and assemble electrical control panels, including connecting circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, fuses, and other components according to detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Competencies:

Professional Skills:

• Experience with Siemens, Schneider, ABB, or other brands of electrical control panels.

• Ability to read and work with SCHEMATIC DRAWING

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Wireman, ideally in panel assembly or wiring of control panels.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical , or related field.

Special Certifications:

• Certification in low voltage systems.
