To support this focus area, Amazon is seeking a full-time WHS Specialist (WHSS) to serve as a designated representative for their assigned building coordinating and implementing all areas of the Amazon Global Program as directed by the leadership. The WHSS is required to maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems. The WHSS also conducts risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions. In addition, the WHSS is responsible for recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics. Candidate must be willing to work any shift, based on availability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems
- Support management efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state laws
- Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions
- Responsible for recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics
- Available to work flexible shifts including days, nights and/or weekend
For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
- High school or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR; A bachelors degree in EHS-relevant background OR; 6 months experience performing in a safety-related role within Amazon
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
- Experience maintaining confidentiality in matter involving security and/or personal issues in the workplace
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a safety related field
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
- Experience leading and managing a team ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses
- Experience in emergency response and currently holds First Aid and CPR certificates
- Experience in workers compensation case managements

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and proactive EHS Specialist to join our team in Dammam. 2.القيام بجولات تفقدية يومية على صالات الإنتاج وأماكن العمل للتأكد من الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة وتقليل فرص وقوع الحوادث.
3.التأكد من عمل أجهزة الإنذار ومعدات الإطفاء الآلي واليدوي (مثل طفايات الحريق، أنظمة الرش، كواشف الدخان)، وتوثيق أعمال الصيانة الدورية لها.
4.الإشراف على استخدام معدات الحماية الشخصية (PPE) والتأكد من التزام العمال باستخدامها (مثل: خوذة الرأس، الكمامات، القفازات، الأحذية الواقية، واقيات السمع).
5.فحص الآلات والمعدات من منظور السلامة، والإبلاغ عن أي خلل قد يشكل خطرًا على العاملين.
6.متابعة تطبيق نظام قفل/وضع بطاقة (LOTO) عند إجراء أعمال الصيانة أو الإصلاحات على المعدات الكهربائية أو الميكانيكية.
7.التحقيق في الحوادث المهنية والإصابات داخل المصنع، وتحليل الأسباب الجذرية، وتقديم توصيات لمنع تكرارها.
8.إعداد التقارير الدورية لإدارة المصنع حول مؤشرات السلامة، ونسب الحوادث، والمخالفات، والتدريبات المنفذة.
9.تدريب العاملين بشكل دوري على إجراءات السلامة، التعامل مع الحرائق، الإخلاء السريع، والتعامل مع المواد الكيميائية إن وُجدت.
10.متابعة تخزين ونقل المواد الخطرة أو القابلة للاشتعال داخل المصنع والتأكد من الالتزام باللوائح البيئية والسلامة الخاصة بها.
11.ضمان وضوح علامات السلامة والإرشادات على الأرضيات، الممرات، نقاط الخروج، وأماكن المعدات.
