- Assessing Hotel’s employee training needs, develop training materials and conduct training programs as necessary.
- Ensure that the suppliers / contractors are complying with the EHS & food safety standards through audits and communications.
- Monitor / identify relevant changes in Sustainability/Health and Safety / Food safety local regulations and laws and update the internal procedures, policies and forms accordingly.
- Undertake regular EHS and food safety inspections at the workplace and implement corrective action where required.
- Manage and control all documents (manuals, policies, procedures, logs etc.) related to EHSMS & food safety and the corresponding reports.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement corporate social responsibility activities aimed at contributing positively to the community and environment.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of Rotana Earth programs within the hotel
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be a college / university degree graduate preferably in Health / Hygiene / Quality management with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role with preferable previous experience in the Middle East. You must be a computer literate with effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and additionally in Arabic.

Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain HSE programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with company, client, legal, and governmental requirements, in coordination with HR.
- Execute safety programs to minimize company safety losses and create a culture of prevention.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Promote awareness of organizational safety, health, and environmental policies among all employees.
- Advocate for the use of safer work equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and certificates in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support HSE inspections, audits, and self-assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage environmental processes including waste management, pollution prevention, and chemical handling.
- Oversee industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding, and related health and safety programs.
- Conduct safety assessments, deploy corrective measures, and reduce hazard risk profiles.
- Plan and execute training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to improve HSE competency.
- Lead regular HSE meetings and safety inspections.
- Mentor and manage HSE personnel, providing guidance and support.
- Track incidents, prepare reports, and communicate lessons learned across the organization.
- Proactively prevent unsafe acts and conditions and reduce accident rates.
- Drive on-the-job safety initiatives across all departments.
- Schedule and chair safety committee meetings.
- Safeguard employee health and workplace safety.
- Ensure effective implementation of HSE training programs.
- Guarantee compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 or equivalent).
- Minimum 05 years’ proven HSE management experience, ideally within industrial, oil & gas, or any manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and Saudi regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and incident investigation skills.
