Summary

Data Analysis Specialist is responsible for all Quality data collection, analysis and visualization, developing and maintaining Quality Dashboards and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and capture all Data and KPIs related to Manufacturing Quality.
  • Develop Quality Dashboard using Lucid Applications and Tools to ensure data and KPIs visualization.
  • Conduct data analysis and deep dives to visualize priorities and top contributors that require focus.
  • Identify data and Quality issues trends versus Problem Solving.
  • Track effectiveness of actions plans through data.
  • Maintain all Quality Dashboards updated and accurate.
  • Escalate urgent issues and prioritize business needs.
  • Provide required support to all Quality functions regarding data collection, visualization and analysis.
  • Develop regular reports for different management levels.
  • Prepare reporting for weekly and monthly Quality reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Engineer degree in Industrial, data management or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with OEM is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Tableau and SmartSheet is a strong plus.
  • Experience with the Manufacturing Execution System Application/Environment is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Sales Force Application is a strong plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills, comfortable presenting ideas and issues to peer groups and leaders.

**Your key responsibilities**

As an Executive within our Valuation Modeling and Economics team, you are likely to spend your day-to-day understanding the key business drivers, co-developing our approach with the client, agreeing value measurements, and providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions, and advice.

You will make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects by gaining a thorough understanding of the target business and its market, and of clients' issues, performing research and analysis of the target's industry and of quoted companies operating in that sector. - Previous business valuation, capital allocation, portfolio optimization, corporate finance or strategy background experience
- Financial modeling skills including experience building models from scratch.

Job Description

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) in a Client Focused role within BCG's Public Sector Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team focused on economic development, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute on cases and proposals by providing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create strong impact for the client. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements and design/develop solutions.

You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector you are working in, in conjunction with business leaders, by contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  1. Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in economics
  2. Communicating with case teams and clients team members in a credible and confident way
  3. Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
  4. Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
  5. Navigating complexity and ambiguity
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  1. 1-2+ years of consulting experience in relevant economic development required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
  2. In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  3. Bachelor's Degree required in Economics, Public Policy, Development, or related areas (advanced degree preferred)
  4. Fluency in English; additional Arabic language skills preferred
  5. Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills

As a Client Focus KT, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. Our team is made up of a diverse pool of knowledge positions that allow us to pursue exciting, innovative knowledge careers.

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated with BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda, and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function, and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
