Overview
WKC are looking for an Environmental Scientist / EIA / Ecologist with experience of assisting with field surveys and with strong technical written skills as well as basic understanding of statistics. Strong field ecology survey skills in terrestrial ecosystems is highly desirable. Furthermore, experience in undertaking ecological impact assessments is preferable.
The job will involve undertaking desk studies on terrestrial and/or marine ecology and field surveys, as well as assisting with ecological impact assessment studies and providing mitigation for protected flora and fauna for a variety of proposed development projects in the KSA. In addition, the job will involve undertaking report writing duties and assisting in general office tasks including maintenance and monitoring survey equipment and proposal writing.
Th chosen candidate should have at least three years experience of working in KSA and undertaking ecological assessments.
Responsibilities- Integrate with WKC’s ecology team conducting field surveys.
