This position is a full-time role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
When will I work?
- Most of your work will be Sunday – Thursday during normal business hours.
- Some last-minute scheduling happens at times to meet our customers' needs when an unexpected repair or event happens. Your schedule may vary and will include some nights and weekends depending on business. needs. Where will I be working?
- Your office will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Role is 90% travel. You will travel to customer sites within your regional area. You may also travel nationwide or internationally depending on business needs. Most of the travel will be throughout the Middle East, West/Central Asia, and Africa. On-site work can vary by location and from day to day. One day you might work inside a control room, the next day you might be outside on a lift or ladder working with a video display.

What will work look like for me?
Our Audio Video Field Technicians provide high quality service delivery, on-site support and installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Daktronics' digital LED display and audio systems across the Middle East, West/Central Asia and Africa.
Onsite Support consists of supporting Daktronics equipment and end customers where the equipment is located. This work will primarily focus on:
- Providing service, installation, or support during an event at a customer site.
- Providing on-site technical and maintenance services for Control Systems and Display Systems.
- Leveraging your knowledge by training our Service Partners.
- Regularly participating in technical training on new and different products and systems to advance your technical knowledge to support Daktronics Customers.
- Actively creating and updating knowledge base articles for internal/external use.
- On-site technical support may include terminating fiber, field repair, testing and system level troubleshooting.
Remote Support consists of supporting Daktronics equipment and end customers. This work will primarily focus on:
- Providing technical, over-the-phone support to internal and external customers.

To be considered for Audio Video Field Technician, we require the following:
- Minimum of an associate degree plus relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred majors include Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, A/V Broadcast, or similar programs. Will consider non-technical bachelor's degree if applicant also has previous experience demonstrating technical learning ability.
- Three to five years of experience in a similar role is required (audio/video, electrical, communication).
- Able to work at heights, work from a ladder, and ability to carry ladder/tools/parts from vehicle to work site.
- Available to work evenings, midnight shifts and/or weekends to support facility event schedules.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel by air and ground. Must have valid KSA issued driver's license and good driving record.

We are recruiting a
Field Service Technician
on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, a leading company in the
Oil & Gas industry in Saudi Arabia
.
The role provides on-site
mechanical/electrical maintenance expertise
across nominated rigs to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will verify preventive maintenance (PM) quality, support rig moves and start-ups, mentor maintenance crews, and promptly escalate non-productive time (NPT) risks to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM), audits, and inspections, especially during rig moves.
- Review spare parts availability and forecast additional requirements.
- Conduct weekly rig visits and work directly with Rig Managers and Maintenance Teams.
- Perform troubleshooting, PMs, inspections, and rig-up/start-up support.
- Mentor rig maintenance crews and provide feedback on performance.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, procedures, and operational directives.
- Escalate issues promptly to Maintenance Management.
- Reside on-site during rotations, traveling between rigs as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum
5 years of experience
as Chief Electrician or Chief Mechanic within drilling or Oil & Gas. - Trade-certified in
Mechanical or Electrical
disciplines. - Strong troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical/electrical faults.
- Proven experience with
land drilling rigs and related equipment
. - Solid knowledge of PM planning, W/O review, audits, and inspections.
- High safety awareness and procedural discipline.
