Alkaffary Group is on the lookout for an experienced and innovative E-Commerce Manager to lead our online sales strategy and drive the growth of our e-commerce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive e-commerce strategies to enhance customer experience, increase online sales, and manage product selection. You will collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and IT teams to optimize the e-commerce website and successfully implement promotional campaigns. Responsibilities:

  • Establish Standards and Best Practices:
  • Develop systems, standards, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance
  • Provide support across digital marketing areas, including PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media
  • Identify best practices for SEO related to inventory, pre-orders, and pricing strategies
  • Performance Analysis and Sales Monitoring:
  • Track product sales changes using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for organized reporting
  • Oversee key operational tasks, including stock management, category updates, and handling product returns
  • Collaborate closely with merchandising, operations, and customer service teams to enhance efficiencies, trade activities, and customer experience
  • Product Management and Promotional Activities:
  • Manage product uploads, build new categories, update product details, and execute promotional campaigns
  • Play an active role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for development projects and conduct regular site checks to ensure accuracy at all times
  • Coordinate daily e-commerce marketplace activities such as product uploads, performance reporting, and stock transfers
  • Reporting and Data Insights:
  • Prepare reports on e-commerce trade performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), provide data-driven insights, and conduct in-depth analysis to understand shopping behaviors and trends
  • Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of the website to enhance user experience and site performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail-focused organization, with at least 3 years in digital or e-commerce roles. Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Zid, and Salla, including product management, promotions, and store optimization, preferably within a company that operates both offline retail and online sales channels
  • Proficient in using analytical tools such as GA4, Clarity, or Hotjar to assess performance and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience (UX), content development projects, and user interaction across digital platforms.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to define and track commercial objectives, sales targets, and conversion funnels.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good familiarity with web design basics, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
  • Experience managing cross-functional workflows using task/project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Notion, with the ability to coordinate across marketing, operations, and logistics.
  • Solid understanding of payment workflows (e.g., Tamara, Tabby, Mada, COD) and ability to collaborate with finance and accounting teams for reconciliation.
  • Proven ability to manage order fulfillment, returns, inventory tracking, and ensure smooth operational execution.
  • Strong digital background with hands-on experience in performance marketing, online sales optimization, and digital product positioning.

- Drive the deployment of operations country wise, and build partnerships with key players in logistics and/or sellers;

Job Description

A strategic and people leader for a large team, the City Manager of Amazon Now is empowered with complete operations responsibility for a city. She/he will work to create dark stores network, serve customers with best-in-class quick commerce experience, and manage building level cost efficiencies, coupled with driving Regional/National level key Brilliant Basics Initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Ensure a safe work environment
  2. Lead and supervise a team of cluster Managers, TLs as direct reports supported by PAs in Operations
  3. Responsible for the overall Quality, Productivity, and dark store performance
  4. Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; resolve problems; and address staffing needs
  5. Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce/deliver during the day to meet the overall building objectives
  6. Ensure building health and inventory metrics with best-in-class quality metrics
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders and adopt best practices cross-functionally
  8. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives
  9. Learn and understand system interventions for order processing; implement new processes and control measures
  10. Carry out resource planning periodically and address capacity constraints in coordination with Resource Planning and Finance teams
  11. Ensure best practices in people management and compliance, connections, and scorecards
  12. Manage people and team development
  13. Create leaders and talent pipeline; possess good stakeholder and project management skills
  14. Engage in cross-functional interfacing to promote best practices and initiatives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in the quick commerce industry
