Role Overview

As a Cloud and DevOps Architect at Lucidya, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud architecture and DevOps practices. Your focus will be on ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable to meet the demands of our rapidly growing customer base. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to enable a seamless Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process and contribute significantly to our engineering strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar to automate deployment processes
• Collaborate with development teams to establish DevOps best practices, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery
• Evaluate and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes efficiently
• Oversee cloud security and compliance measures, ensuring that our infrastructure meets industry standards and regulations
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud resources and applications to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production incidents, implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime
• Share knowledge and mentor team members on best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps practices, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in using tools for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with relevant tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments and experience in implementing compliance controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing processes

Overview

We are looking for a Systems Engineer who has experience in design, integration, and management of complex systems. The role involves working with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, mechanical, and product) to ensure seamless system performance and compliance with international standards.

• Design and implement system architectures and integration plans.
• Manage requirements, testing, and validation across all system components.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Weapon Technology.
• Specialized training and certification in weapon systems and related equipment.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French & Arabic is advantageous; excellent communication skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years in operation and maintenance of weapon and communication systems, including installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications.
• Experience with weapon system LRUs and associated equipment such as Safety Management Units, Power Distribution Modules, Ethernet switches, Control Electronics Units, Power Conditioning Units, System Command and Control Units, and FHCs.
• Knowledge of weapon system subsystems including Stabilized Sight Head, Turret, Panniers, Automatic Missile Interface Unit, and power systems.
• Experience working in complex, multicultural, multidisciplinary environments with customer interactions.
• Understanding of broader contractor support services.

• Perform diagnostic checks, specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the Mobile Integrated Defense to ensure it remain operationally ready.
• Diagnosis and isolates complex electronic problems between the hardware, software and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using a variety of electronic repair and fault isolation procedures such as system diagnostics, unit self-checks, BITE, and tools and test equipment.
• Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote sites to perform software maintenance, troubleshooting, and On the Job Training (OJT).
• To ensure the readiness of the Mobile Integrated Defense system, communicate with the Contractor Experts in Europe to find solutions and fix malfunctions in case the engineer is unable to remedy errors alone.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Weapon Technology.
• Specialized training and certification in each area of expertise with Weapon system and associated equipment.
• You speak English (French & Arabic are an advantage) with excellent communication and interpersonal relationship management skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Knowledge, experience in operational and maintenance of Weapon system and associated equipment and communication equipment. The experience should include installation, testing, integration, upgrades and modifications to the weapon system.
• Overall experience with Weapon system and associated equipment and should include Safety Management Unit, Power Distribution Modules, Ethernet switch, Control Electronics Unit, Power Conditioning Unit, System Command and Control Unit, LMM missiles in Field Handling Containers (FHCs), and interface equipment.
• The technical knowhow should include weapon system LRUs including, Stabilized Sight Head, Turret, Panniers, Automatic Missile Interface Unit, power systems and other sub systems associated with the weapon system.
• Experience in a complex environment (multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, matrix organization, customer interactions, etc)
• Good understanding of wider CONTRACTOR support services.
