Parsons is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Design Manager to support the design management activities for Rights of Way Package 1 as part of the prestigious Qiddiya Project . This role involves assisting the Design Manager in coordinating and overseeing design management, assurance and approvals processes, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of design processes for this transformative Vision 2030 project.
The Assistant Design Manager will support the Design Manager responsible for managing the Lead Design Consultant (LDC)for multi-disciplinary services for the design of primary infrastructure from Concept stage through to "Issue for Construction" stage.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design Coordination:
- Assist the Design Manager in managing and coordinating design management and assurance activities across all disciplines for the Rights of Way Package 1.
- Assist in managing the design review process ensuring design submissions comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Facilitate communication between design consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Project Support:
- Support the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, design approval programs, and progress reports.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timely submission of deliverables and approvals through technical stage gates.
- Identify potential risks or delays in the design process and propose mitigation strategies.
