**Graphic Designer**

The Graphic designer will create visual text and imagery concepts, by using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. A graphic designer will be tasked with developing the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, and corporate reports, etc. as well as designing graphics to meet Coffee Hub’s promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc.

**Major Areas of Responsibility**
- Create, develop and maintain graphic materials for our online and offline marketing campaigns
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product and service illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop
- Creatively transform written content and ideas into usable graphics for social media posts and marketing campaigns
- Managing graphic designs from conception to delivery
- Able to use research insights and performance data to propose design solutions and the ability to understand business priorities
- Able to work on various concepts and propositions to offer multiple outcomes on a project
- Ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

**Job Requirements**
- University degree or equivalent qualification in graphic / communication design
- 2 years+ relevant experience
- Advanced skills of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop; Illustrator; InDesign.
- Knowledge of the web standards, design and layout concepts
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
- Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects effectively in time challenged situations
- Capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.

Job Description

Based at Hayy Jameel in Jeddah, the Design and Production Assistant will support the Design and Production Manager in the delivery of exhibitions, installations, commissions, and spatial design projects across Art Jameel’s multidisciplinary spaces. This role requires technical proficiency in spatial design software, strong organisational capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.

The role includes responsibilities ranging from technical drawing and 3D modelling to project administration and on-site coordination. It is particularly well-suited to early-career professionals with a background in architecture, interior, or product design who are passionate about cultural production and exhibition-making.

The Design and Production Assistant will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including teams from Exhibitions, Learning, Operations, and Communications, as well as with external fabricators, artists, and contractors. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during installations or project deadlines.

Responsibilities and Duties

Technical Support

● Prepare architectural drawings, technical specifications, and layout plans using AutoCAD, Rhino, and SketchUp.
● Assist in developing presentation visuals and exhibition documentation using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.
● Support in generating 3D models, fabrication references, and basic renders for internal and external review.

Project Coordination

Qualifications and Experience

● 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.

**POSITION OVERVIEW:**
Serves as Lead Designer for all phases of a project. Provides technical guidance to project design and drafting personnel, and functions as liaison with client, suppliers, and contractors regarding design issues. Draws upon diversified design experience to lead lower-level Designers and Drafters in completing the most difficult and complex design assignments, generally utilizing either 2D or 3D CAD methods.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Coordinates execution of work assignments with respect to design approach, schedules, standards, budgets, and procedures to meet client scope of work requirements. Provides manpower estimates as required.
Provides technical guidance to project design team in completing the most complex and difficult designs and layouts for complete systems and components of a project. Assignments typically involve design elements for which there may be no clearly established precedents and require anticipation of problems at the outset in order to provide appropriate solutions.
Ensures compliance with required specifications, tolerances, safety factors, and industry codes, as well as client requirements and company standards.
Performs specialized design computations and analysis within a given discipline.
Performs interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design.
Provides direction to a team of checking personnel, ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings produced. Participates in checking orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others.
Understands and applies commonly used company design standards and methods. Provides input to the establishment or revision of guidelines and standards.
Collaborates with Engineers and other engineering disciplines to ensure quality of design.
Reviews supplier data and supplier/manufacturer drawings, as required.
May train lower-level Designers in various procedures.

Requirements include strong PC and CAD skills, as well as knowledge of the capabilities and efficiencies of utilizing specific computer software to complete design assignments. Also requires the ability to perform in a lead capacity on a project.
