The role is responsible for ensuring that scheduled maintenance works are being carried out on time and to minimize, through analysis and corrective action, unexpected breakdowns.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 10 Years' experience in mechanical maintenance, 5 of which in a supervisory position.
  • Excellent command of English.

Kent is looking for a Head of Department – Electrical Engineering to deliver high-quality engineering work in line with project standards and schedules.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Allocate appropriate discipline resources for the execution of proposals, Concept Studies (DBSPs), FEED, FEED Verifications and detailed engineering on projects.
  • Prepare verbal or written reports as required, stating the current workload in the group and whether it will meet set targets. If not, give the reasons why not and list the steps taken, or which need to be taken, to get back on target.
  • Make sure that all the information needed by engineers to perform their work is available before they need it so that work progresses at a smooth and steady pace, on time and on target.
  • Provide assessments for the Engineering, on the performance of the various engineers/designers.
  • Ensure that any necessary reference material is readily available to engineers whether it be a National or Client Standard, Procedure, or recognized Code of Practice. Also, ensure that the most used vendor literature is available.
  • Allocate work packages to suitable engineers, monitor progress against the schedule, resolve queries and generally expedite the progress of the design.
  • Liaise with the relevant Engineering with respect to resources and equipment requirements needed for the discipline to complete the work.

  • Review and approve key engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.

  • Define and manage pricing strategies, discount policies, and commercial terms to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure timely receivable collection in line with customer credit terms while maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Ensure strict compliance with Quality Management Systems and industry standards to deliver high-quality solutions and services.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide coaching for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with HR to identify training needs, ensuring the team is equipped with technical expertise, product knowledge, and market insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (MBA from a reputed institution preferred).
  • 20+ years of progressive experience
    in sales leadership, with proven success in large-scale
    projects, services, or industrial business environments
    (Solar / Renewable Energy industry preferred).
  • Strong expertise in
    product, category, and channel management
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals and manage large accounts.
  • Commercially astute with strong financial acumen and contract management experience.
  • Excellent command of English (Arabic is an added advantage).

Reigate Grammar School Riyadh (RGSR) is a British International School educating approximately 1,500 students aged 3-18. Established in 2022, RGSR is the first of a series of schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be opened in partnership between Reigate Grammar School (RGS) and ADECO.

RGS was founded by Alderman Henry Smith in 1675. For over 345 years, young people have been educated on the same site, in the heart of Reigate, a historic market town 15 miles south of the City of London. RGS is regarded as one of the leading co-educational schools in the UK offering the very best academic education with equal prominence placed on the arts, sport and a rich extra-curricular programme.

RGSR is one of a small number of schools to operate under the Royal Commission for Riyadh City's (RCRC) International Schools Programme. Students follow the EYFS and National Curriculum for England from Nursery to KS3, before studying towards iGCSE and A-Level qualifications in Key Stage 4 and 5 respectively.
