This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Technician located in Al Khobar. The Dental Technician will be responsible for crafting dental prosthetics, assisting in dental care treatments, handling laboratory tasks, and maintaining high standards of dental technology. Daily tasks include working closely with dentists to ensure the quality and precision of dental appliances, performing adjustments, repairs to dental devices, and ensuring all dental laboratory protocols are followed.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures (fillings, extractions, crowns, etc.).
• Prepare the treatment room and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control standards.

• Record basic patient information and support in scheduling appointments.
• Prepare dental materials and instruments required during procedures.
• Clean and organize the treatment area after each patient.

Qualifications:

Job Description:

Prepares the patient / clinic for the treatment, assists the consultants / Specialist / Dentists / Students in performing their treatment on patients in all fields of dentistry including restorative, periodontics, endodontics, prosthetic and oral surgery. The dental assistants prepare materials and equipment for treatment and have them ready for use. She / He should be able to take X – Rays when needed. May perform other related work to include, but not limited to, arranging appointments, contact patients, preparing the needed supplies.

Qualifications,Experience Required:

• Should be able to register with Saudi Commission For Health Specialities as a Dental Nurse.

• Dental Assistant qualification or equivalent. (Dentist graduation or dental nursing

Diploma)

• Can be medical nurse with dental experience

• Minimum experience required is 3 years working in a dental specialty.

Other Requirements:

• Registered as a dentist or dental assistant in the home country.(Applicants with Philippine Dental License shall be preferred).

• Good communication skills

• Planning and organizing ability;

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures for all phases of general dentistry

• Be familiar with the current knowledge of modern dental materials, their storage, and handling and applications is required.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Supports dental care delivery by performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act and per scope of practice

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Assist the Dentist in the delivery of quality dental services according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation

Required Education

Required Experience
Essential: At least two years' experience as a qualified Dental Assistant
