The Department of Dentistry serves four major categories of patients :
- Medically compromised (cardiac, oncology, BMT, organ transplant, renal, etc.)
- Dental tertiary care (cleft lip & palate, craniofacial anomalies, oral cancer)
- VIP / Protocol patients
- Eligible Hospital Employees / Dependents
The Department also staffs the walk-in emergency dental clinic in the Family Medicine / Polyclinic area, as well as a satellite clinic, and provides team members to the Hospital's Cleft lip & Palate and Head & Neck tumor / oncology teams.
Dental Clinic has up to date digital network imaging (Carestream) including Cone-beam as well 3D Camera for Orthodontic cases, as well we have full CAD-CAM technology including 3D printer to make Crown, Bridges, Models, Implant surgical guides, custom made titanium plate and condyles for Maxillofacial surgery needs.
The hospital is also involved in teaching residents in different Specialty training programs of Saudi Dental Board.
