ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a skilled Demand Planner to oversee demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with key stakeholders, and a proactive approach to improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasting models to ensure inventory levels align with market demand.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and seasonal fluctuations to optimize inventory and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with sales and production teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of demand plans.
- Participate in demand planning for new product launches to ensure timely product availability.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory turnover rate, stock-out rate, and forecast accuracy.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop corresponding mitigation strategies.
- Work with the supply chain team to coordinate cross-functional demand planning activities.
- Monitor and analyze root causes of overdue inventory turnover, regularly publish overdue inventory reports, and collaborate with GTM and Sales teams to develop inventory consumption plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above , preferably in Supply Chain Management, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or related technical fields.
- 3-6 years of Demand Planning experience in complex multi-category industries (e.g., consumer electronics, FMCG) is preferred.
- Familiar with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes .
- Proficient in analyzing historical sales data and applying forward-looking forecasting methodologies; strong understanding of supply planning models, principles, and theoretical frameworks.
- Open-minded with exceptional communication skills ; able to integrate quickly into teams, build trust internally/externally, and excel in cross-departmental collaboration.
