Master-Works is seeking a highly experienced Data Warehouse Expert to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead in designing and implementing sophisticated data warehousing solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the effective integration, management, and utilization of data across the organization, providing insights that drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and architecture of data warehouse systems, ensuring scalability and performance optimization
• Develop comprehensive ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Implement data governance practices and ensure data quality and integrity within the data warehouse
• Monitor data warehouse performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data warehouse engineers and analysts
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in data warehousing technologies and best practices

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience (5-7+ years) as a Data Warehouse Expert or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake)
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Microsoft SSIS) and data integration techniques
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema)
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS) for reporting and analytics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Certifications related to data warehousing or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus
