Job Purpose:

  • Assist in the development of data privacy and protection policies, standards and procedures in line with ZATCA’s strategy and based on best practices and international standards.

  • Devise a list of data privacy and protection KPIs in line with strategic objectives to ensure proper follow-up.

  • Conduct risk assessments against data privacy to identify faced data issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions accordingly.

  • Prepare data privacy and protection awareness programs and initiatives to ensure proper communication of NDMO and ZATCA requirements.
Data Privacy and Protection Management
  • Manage proper implementation of data privacy and protection plans while identifying data issues related to evaluation, integration, and automation to ensure timely resolution.
  • Identify and assess improvement areas and develop accordingly needed initiatives and projects to minimize facing data issues and ensure continuous adherence to data obligations.
  • Follow-up on proper implementation of approved improvement action plans to enhance data privacy and protection.
  • Consolidate data privacy issues and partner with internal stakeholders, particularly IT functions, to implement remedial actions.
  • Develop reports for related stakeholders highlighting ZATCA’s compliance levels with data standards and policies.
Organization and Operations
  • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team members to ensure work is carried out efficiently.
  • Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
People Management
  • Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable.
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/junior staff.

Role responsibilities:

Risk Management (Enterprise, Operational and Strategic Risk Management)

  • Accountable for Planning, implementing, and overseeing risk management practices and programs across the business (Corporate & All SBUs).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain ERM and ORM frameworks.

These sectors include Mobility, Energy, Environmental Services, Financial Services, Health, land & real estate development, logistics, electronics retailing, and media services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the company’s Risk Team in planning, designing, and implementing an overall risk management system across the company and SBUs.
  • Participate in developing the annual risk management plan, ensuring alignment with the risk maturity model.
  • Assist in developing the Company’s Annual Risk Calendar, coordinating with SBU Risk Teams and GCRCO.
  • Provide advice and technical support on risk initiatives, including documents, frameworks, tools, training, and thought leadership.
  • Facilitate and support the execution of risk management processes such as risk assessment, treatment, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Lead risk assessment sessions, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating risks with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate risk treatment sessions, defining existing controls, identifying new mitigation plans, and reviewing strategies.
  • Co-develop standard risk reporting formats and monitor risk reports and action plans with SBU Risk Teams.
  • Maintain continuous communication with risk stakeholders, including senior leadership and compliance teams.
  • Apply knowledge of Business Operations, Compliance Management System, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution; Business and Finance majors preferred.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, Governance, and Compliance.
  • Understanding of international standards like ISO 31000, COSO ERM, King Code IV, ISO 37301, AML, etc.
  • Professional certifications such as ICERM, CRMA, PECB ISO Senior Lead Risk Manager, or GRC Certificate.
  • 7+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, with a focus on Risk Management.
