Job Description
MBC Group is the largest owner and operator of satellite TV and radio networks, VOD, and digital services, based in Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh. It broadcasts a portfolio of Arabic and Western entertainment channels as well as managing the Al Arabiya news channel. In addition, MBC Group owns and operates Shahid: the world’s leading Arabic VOD and SVOD streaming platform by MBC GROUP, offering premium content to Arab families, including binge worthy exclusive Shahid Original Series; Shahid Premieres; Arabic movies fresh off the box-office; live TV channels in true HD quality.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business KPI reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for MBCNOW and GOBX platforms.
- Support Pricing and packaging of content offerings on MBC platforms for various validities and countries.
- Drive partner reporting and reconciliation for all content partners (including Linear channels, SHAHID subscriptions, 3rd party Linear channels / 3rd party applications etc.) that are aggregated on MBC platforms.
- Analyzing & recommending customer upsell / cross-sell, churn and retention activities
- Maintain deferment schedules for the sales and content payouts of subscriptions through MBC platforms of GOBX and MBCNOW to ensure correct reporting.
- Lead reconciliation for Encryption revenue reporting by mapping receivables from retail and credit-card and booking of revenue.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8+ years as a Senior Analyst/Manager with experience in Data, KPI, Performance management
- Candidates with experience in subscription sales will be given a preference
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft products (excel, PowerPoint etc).
- MBA or a bachelor’s degree in business from a well-reputed university
- Fluency in English. Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Highly numerate and analytic with a Background in financial modeling is an added advantage
