Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining and enforcing data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support the implementation of data quality initiatives, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
- Help manage the data catalogue and metadata repository, ensuring accurate documentation of data assets.
- Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and business stakeholders to define data definitions, lineage, and access controls.
- Monitor and report on data governance maturity, compliance, and data quality metrics.
- Contribute to fostering a data-driven culture and raising awareness of data governance principles.
- Support compliance efforts related to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, local regulations).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration).
- 5- 9 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a related field.
- Understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica Axon, etc.) is a plus.
