The Senior Art Director / Creative Manager will lead the creative vision and execution for a wide range of digital and offline marketing projects. This hybrid role requires both hands-on design and conceptual skills, as well as the ability to manage a multidisciplinary creative team, oversee projects, and collaborate closely with clients to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead creative concepts, campaigns, and brand strategies from initial idea to final delivery.
- Oversee and approve the design, visual direction, and branding for client projects.
- Provide hands-on support in graphic design, layout creation, and visual storytelling when needed.
- Ensure creative outputs are innovative, on-brand, and aligned with client objectives.
Concept & Proposal Development
- Develop creative concepts and proposals for client projects, pitches, and in-house initiatives.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare compelling visuals, mock-ups, and presentations for potential clients.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative and market-relevant ideas.
- Manage and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and other creatives.
- Conduct regular reviews of creative work, offering constructive feedback and ensuring quality control.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering creativity, productivity, and skill growth.
Project & Client Coordination
- Serve as the main creative point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision and goals are met.
- Collaborate with client servicing and account management teams to maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare and present creative concepts and pitches to clients, adapting based on feedback.
Strategic & Brand Development
- Translate client briefs into impactful creative strategies and visual directions.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints and campaigns.
- Introduce innovative design trends, technologies, and formats to enhance creative output.
Workflow & Process Management
- Oversee the entire creative production process, from brainstorming and concepting to final delivery.
- Manage project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Implement and refine creative processes for efficiency and scalability.
Quality & Performance
- Uphold high creative standards across all deliverables.
- Ensure all content is reviewed for design accuracy, brand alignment, and error-free execution.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of creative outputs, making recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven portfolio showcasing high-quality creative work across multiple mediums.
- Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Familiarity with motion graphics, photography, videography, and digital content creation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
