About You

Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills:

• 20+ years of cost management experience post-MRICS qualification.
• 10+ years of experience living and working in the GCC.
• Extensive experience leading cost consultancy projects.
• Knowledge of cost estimating and planning techniques.
• Understanding of construction procurement and contract strategies.
• Ability to motivate teams and provide support.
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability.
• Proficient networking abilities.
• Specialist knowledge in a specific industry sector (e.g., Residential, Hotels, Commercial).
• Ability to prepare first-class service bids.
• Experience delivering services and managing client relationships.
• Proven ability to interface with clients and stakeholders at high levels.

Qualifications:

• FRICS or MRICS or equivalent qualification.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Native-level English proficiency, written and oral.

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of Cost Control Department-related policies and procedures.
• Controlling and monitoring the project total expenditure, including verifying and checking the invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.

• Advising the Senior Cost Control Engineer of the cost negative Variance when they occur.

Education and Experience:
