We are looking for an experienced Lawyer, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in PQE dealing with complex commercial, M&A, technology related contracts, in either in-house or private practice environments, to join a rapidly growing international technology start-up.
The candidate placed in this role will be responsible for safeguarding our company’s reputation whilst ensuring the organization follows the local law guidelines in the countries where we operate and by providing legal advice and solutions to the Management and Leadership about relevant issues. Responsibilities
- Support on contractual management, write and review terms and conditions, negotiate agreements and advise on risk profiles.
- Build relationships with multinational teams, while displaying genuine interest in sharing skills and experience with legal and non-legal business colleagues.
- Drafting and reviewing investment documentation.
- Negotiating contracts with partners.
- Working closely with the Management and Leadership to develop the legal strategy and its implementation.
- Develop and implement internal governance policies and monitor compliance across all the company’s markets.

Requirements

- Good knowledge and understanding of technology and commercial contract requirements including intellectual property and data protection.
- Experience of outsourcing is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in contract legal support (in-house or private practice) and business acumen.
- Experience in reviewing contracts using contract templates and/or using contract guidance/playbooks.
- Ability to draft contract terms to meet requirements.

Legal advice & Guidance
- To draft, review, negotiate a variety of contracts for the Company's Day to day operations
