To manage and coordinate all aspects of temporary works on the project, ensuring that designs are safe, compliant, and properly implemented. The TWC acts as the key interface between designers, contractors, and site teams to ensure temporary works are planned, executed, and dismantled safely. Key Responsibilities:

Coordination & Oversight :
  • Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and removal of all temporary works. o Ensure temporary works are designed by competent Temporary Works Designers and reviewed/approved before execution.
  • Maintain a register of all temporary works on site and ensure proper documentation is in place.

Compliance & Safety :
  • Ensure all temporary works comply with relevant standards (e.g., BS 5975), project specifications, and local regulations.
  • Verify that temporary works are installed and maintained as per approved designs and RAMS.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure ongoing safety and integrity of temporary structures.

Communication & Documentation :
  • Act as the primary point of contact for temporary works-related issues.
  • Liaise with designers, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical and safety concerns.
  • Ensure all temporary works documentation is properly filed and accessible.

Training & Support :
  • Provide guidance and training to site teams on temporary works procedures.

Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications :

This role involves managing the full permit-to-work (PTW) process and ensuring job readiness and safety compliance for daily work execution at Aramco project sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Permit Management & Compliance

  • Obtain, process, and close out work permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Excavation, etc.) in compliance with Aramco PTW standards.
  • Ensure all associated documentation such as JSAs, risk assessments, and method statements are complete and valid before permit activation.

2. Site Coordination & Readiness

  • Conduct pre-task site inspections to verify job readiness and compliance.
  • Coordinate between site execution teams, safety officers, and Aramco permit issuers for timely permit approvals and closures.

3. Safety & Documentation

  • Participate in toolbox talks and pre-job briefings to align the team on permit scope and safety precautions.
  • Maintain accurate permit logs, daily records, and documentation for audits and reporting.

4. Communication & Risk Control

  • Serve as the point of contact for all permit-related communication with Aramco representatives.
  • Report unsafe conditions or deviations from approved permit scope immediately to supervisors.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills

  • Valid Aramco Work Permit Receiver (WPR) Certification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in PTW coordination on Aramco project sites.
  • Strong understanding of Aramco's safety protocols and PTW categories.
  • Familiarity with industrial and oil & gas job environments.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • High level of attention to detail, documentation, and compliance procedures.

Certifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing temporary works in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of structural behavior, construction methods, and safety requirements.
