Overview

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst to join the Channel Management Division.


The Channel Management Division is responsible for all Aramco corporate channels which includes: website, social media channels, Aramco Life application and print publications.


As a Digital Marketing Analyst your primary role is to leverage data analysis techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, including paid and organic efforts across social media platforms and website.





Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:




  • Provide in-depth analysis of social media campaign and website performance

  • Identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.

  • Assess the effectiveness of key performance indicators such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates to recommend data-driven improvements.

  • Perform detailed audience segmentation and behavior analysis to inform targeting strategies and campaign adjustments.

  • Provide comprehensive reporting on social media and website campaigns, presenting insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

  • Assess emerging trends and technologies in digital and social media marketing analytics to ensure tools and methodologies remain cutting-edge.

  • Perform testing and analysis to determine the effectiveness of various campaign elements, such as: creative formats and messaging strategies.

  • Increasing a website’s visibility in search engines to drive organic and paid traffic.

  • Analyzing performance metrics, and staying up to date with search engine algorithm changes.

  • Work closely with the content creators and web developers to implement strategies that improve rankings and maximize Return On Investment.



Education & Experience Requirements

As a successful candidate you will hold a:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media and website analytics, including at least 2 years in a role focused on campaign performance reporting and data-driven optimization.

  • Understanding of analytics tools, social media and website insights platforms, and data visualization software.

  • Proficiency in using data to inform digital strategies is a requirement.

  • Expertise in social media and website promotion and optimization, audience segmentation, campaign tracking, and reporting methodologies.

  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, such as: Meta Ads Manager or LinkedIn Campaign Manager is also necessary.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring data insights align with broader social media and company objectives.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like

  • Utilise advanced data analytics to grow Canonical's product adoption and market penetration
  • Focus on quantitative and qualitative data analytics to find insights and meaningful business outcomes
  • Design and conduct experiments with data, visualisation and insights into Canonical's target audiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams (Product Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, RevOps, etc) to improve the data and tool ecosystem
  • Put in place and maintain systems to ensure teams across the company have self-service access to data dashboards

What we are looking for in you?

  • Background in data science, mathematics, actuarial science, or engineering
  • Knowledge in advanced statistics, data sciences, coding/scripting languages (Python, JS, etc), and databases (SQL, etc)
  • Strength in data analytics and visualisation (Looker Studio, Tableau, Apache Superset, etc)
  • Ability to translate business questions to key research objectives
  • Ability to identify the best methodology to execute research, synthesise and analyse findings
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Willingness to examine the status quo and resilient in the face of challenges

What Will You Do

Responsible for designing and driving visibility into commercial and pricing strategies critical to business decision-making and strategic planning for the Saudi Arabia market in the MEISA region. The role entails leading commercial projects in Saudi Arabia, providing in-depth analysis, and developing actionable insights to achieve regional and corporate goals. This individual will also act as a technical expert on complex and specialized subjects, contributing to revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer experience enhancement.

Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy Development:
  • Build and execute revenue management strategies, pricing programs, and go-to-market initiatives to drive market share and profitability.
  • Conduct customer and market analyses, and pricing assessments for new products/services.
  • Identify revenue and growth opportunities through strategic data-driven insights.
Data Analysis & Visualization:
  • Research, extract, and analyze complex datasets to support decision-making.
  • Develop management reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings through impactful data visualization for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Customer Experience & Pricing Support:
  • Enhance customer experience by creating customized pricing strategies for strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to onboard larger strategic opportunities and optimize flight capacity.
Project Management:
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic commercial projects across MEA markets.
  • Track, monitor, and provide progress updates on various projects to regional and local management.
You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets (structured and unstructured) for analysis, data storytelling, and the ability to communicate complex insights effectively through report writing and presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with business acumen focused on business-critical challenges, for effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently manage complex strategic initiatives across markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and database applications such as SQL is preferred.

The role of a Junior Marketing Analyst at Canonical

We're on the look out for a marketing data analyst to join our team and execute on our growth hacking strategy.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, technology marketing and the use of technology in marketing. You will prefer to work in an environment that has emphasis on ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, curiosity and a drive to continually improve oneself / the team / the organisation. You will also love to problem solve, get hands-on, experiment, measure and use automation to make daily life easier.

The Marketing team at Canonical drives commercial outcomes for the company across its portfolio of products and grows the addressable market through digital marketing campaigns, lifecycle management, events, partnerships and community development. If these things are important to you and you're motivated by driving growth, delighting customers and filling the sales funnel, we want to talk with you.

This role sits in the Marketing team reporting to the Growth Engineering Manager.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like

  • Utilise advanced data analytics to grow Canonical's product adoption and market penetration
  • Focus on quantitative and qualitative data analytics to find insights and meaningful business outcomes
  • Design and conduct experiments with data, visualisation and insights into Canonical's target audiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams (Product Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, RevOps, etc) to improve the data and tool ecosystem
  • Put in place and maintain systems to ensure teams across the company have self-service access to data dashboards

What we are looking for in you?

  • Background in data science, mathematics, actuarial science, or engineering
  • Knowledge in advanced statistics, data sciences, coding/scripting languages (Python, JS, etc), and databases (SQL, etc)
  • Strength in data analytics and visualisation (Looker Studio, Tableau, Apache Superset, etc)
  • Ability to translate business questions to key research objectives
  • Ability to identify the best methodology to execute research, synthesise and analyse findings
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Willingness to examine the status quo and resilient in the face of challenges
