MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Ensure that projects are supported with Construction Department guidelines and that the construction process is in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organization and coordination of construction project meetings with team members and various project stakeholders.
- Recruitment and monitoring of construction inspection during project phases.
- Daily oversight of construction engineering team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work product, and generating performance appraisals.
- Assistant site management team in identifying and following up on construction opportunities.
- Assisting the site management team to implement client development and marketing strategies among existing and potential clients.
- Monitor sub-contractor progress and performance, including review and approval the progress.
- Ensure accurate setting out and leveling of the works in accordance with the drawings/ specifications.
- Ensure all drawings and information relating to the post holder’s area of work are accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure quality control and testing of work and materials is carried out in accordance with the specification requirements.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the project schedule
- Acting as the main technical advisor not judgment, direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors when required, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
- Control and monitor site waste in accordance with the Company’s Site Waste Minimization and Management policy.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to projects on the system to enable traceability.
- Document the lessons learned and discipline library and case studies leading and managing the on-site construction team within his area of specialization.
- Review the methods of statement checklists that will be required during the construction and confirmed it.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- + 8 years of work experience in the related field.
- Experience in Power Plants or Substations or synchronous Condenser is must.

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years spent in Food & Beverage or restaurant construction
- Proven experience managing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing across various scopes (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Gas).
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage large teams, contractors, and client interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Docs, and construction management software.
- Experience with FIDIC contracts, project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and quality control processes.
- PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
