Our newest opportunity is for a talented Site Wide Supervision Senior Manager to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This position is responsible for leading the construction supervision team to ensure that the project will be delivered on time and within budget according to the contract. The role will supervise the work of the site engineers, surveyors, inspectors and all other disciplines working on the construction site.
**Responsibilities**:
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Extensive Construction Management experience, including successful project completion and hand-over.
- Significant knowledge and proven leadership experience gained from an engineering consultancy background, having managed construction projects along with a thorough knowledge of project management processes and systems.
- Experience reviewing and managing the contractor’s progress and preparing progress reports on a monthly basis as responsible for the logistics of plots in operation
- Reviewing and approving of contractor’s payment requests and issue payment certificates as appropriate.
- Scheduling and chairing site progress site meetings.
- Excellent communication skills along with the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships.

Provides direction and management for every phase of a major program to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Must be able to manage a program, project, or subtask of up to $75 million in total cost. Prior experience must include significant project experience and successful project management.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client. Assists business development in understanding client issues and business plans in order to market and secure new/additional work.
Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the program, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherenece to these criteria.
Promotes technical excellence on the program, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.
Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
Works with individual project managers to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
Works with individual project managers to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the client and Company management of any such changes.
May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Oversees establishment of Work Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan and other documents for hazardous waste work.
Completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.

The role consist providing support to senior surveyors in the group, learning the QS profession in the practical sense, and from there developing in such a way as to be able to take on the responsibilities of being a fully functional Quantity Surveyor.

Prepare costing schedules, schedules of measurement.
Plan and manage Cost and Contract documentation.

Ensure that appropriate cost/contracts/services/design decisions are met.
Coordinating his/her work with other members of the project team.
