Quality Inspector responsibilities include checking all inbound deliveries before receipt. The role ensures quality inspection of all received products to confirm they meet Panda Specifications (where available) and to prevent sub-standard products from entering Panda Food Chain. The inspector must ensure compliance with local (SASO/ SFDA) and international quality and food safety standards.

- Schedule and prepare for receiving fresh deliveries daily.
- Follow the DC receiving SOP and sampling plan for product receiving and inspection in coordination with the TL.
- Check temperatures of vendor vehicles and products before offloading and dispatching deliveries to stores.
- Inspect products and recommend to the TL and Assistant QC Manager whether to receive or reject deliveries based on product specifications.
- Document all non-conformities with photos and report them to the TL.
- Accurately complete all receiving logs and inspection checklists on time.
- Ensure proper storage practices according to product categories and storage conditions.
- Ensure conformance to Panda Receiving Processes.
- Check Brix and firmness for fruits based on specifications.
- Monitor the pest control system in the DC to prevent pest infections.
- Diploma required; college level preferred.
- Familiarity with QA regulations set by the Corporate QA Team.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to recommend improvements to standards and processes.
- Ability to justify rejection of deliveries with technical explanations.
- Proficient in computer skills, including email, reporting, digital photography, and use of industrial thermometers.
