**Areas of Responsibility**: As Business Development Director at Company you will be using your excellent communication skills to discover and win new business, strategically develop accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction across the EMEA region. In addition, you will be managing a team of Business Development Managers to drive the business in KSA.
- Manage a team of BD Managers to drive sales across the region and build new Business
- Build and maintain client relationships, develop strategic sales plans, and act as a thought partner in complex client negotiations
- Plan and implement sales strategy for a particular market sector by leveraging market knowledge and developing the product and value proposition
- Manage the full sales cycle to maximize revenue potential within existing accounts whilst targeting new customer acquisitions.
- Network with customers and prospects at an executive level to deepen and extend business relationships.
- Meet sales KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Be an industry expert by keeping on top of competitive activity to appropriately advise on strategic and tactical sales recommendations
- Identify ways to integrate Company Linguistic and Technology Solutions into the customers' workflow and recommend best practices
- Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities within the sector with an emphasis on tailored solution selling.
- Devise strategic and tactical sales account plans.
- Ensure you are aware of regular feedback and customer insights to ensure the continuous improvement of Company solutions

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- 10-14 years of proven enterprise sales experience gained in a high tech, IT Consulting or Services company selling to enterprise and strategic accounts with a turnover more than $1Bn
- Extensive experience of successfully selling into complex accounts with a strong track record of negotiation and closing.
- Expertise in prospecting, identifying and developing multiple use cases, and developing strong relationships with C-level executives.
- Demonstrable new business sales experience in early stage companies entering a rapid growth phase
- Knowledge of at least one area of the following primary industry sectors: Government, ' Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Products, Transport & Logistics, Energy, Resources & Utilities and Manufacturing, Medial Telecoms and Technology
- A good understanding of Language and Translation services and the challenges faced within the specific market sectors
- Proven enterprise software/SaaS sales experience, preferably gained in fast-paced, technology & data product driven environment.
- Adept at strategically navigating and influencing all stakeholders in the buying process including users, influencers, and budget decision makers.
- Arabic Required, additional languages are a plus.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

- Actively drive business development in Saudi Arabia, delivering orders targets.
- Execute the commercial strategy in Saudi Arabia, focusing on customer segmentation, competitive differentiation, and key stakeholder access.
- Execute the growth strategy of Consulting Services with a focus on Saudi Arabia, via consulting engagements aligned with the priorities and growth of GE Vernova.
- Position Consulting Services with external stakeholders as well as ensuring a “one Vernova” approach among internal businesses and driving closer connections among the GE Vernova strategy organizations.
- Keep track of industry trends in Saudi Arabia and identify customer problems in order to inform, develop and execute strategic commercial playbook.
- Drive the growth targets in the kingdom via collaboration with global Practice Leaders, with a focus on expansion of Grid Integration & Stability, Power Economics and Decarbonization,, offerings.
- Actively identify and cultivate new customers to create demand and business opportunities.
- Develop projects with customers; contribute to the preparation of proposals; and make customer/industry stakeholder presentations.
- Actively develop a strong partner network in the kingdom with major consulting companies to jointly bid for large scale studies in power sector covering expansion planning and energy transition.
- Develop new and leverage existing industry and customer partnerships: developers/investors, utilities, system operators/owners (TSOs/DSOs), regulators, NGO, cross sector disruptor companies, energy industry organizations, etc.
- Be an energy industry influencer as an active member/leader in Industry forums/events to promote GE Vernova solutions and technology.
- Help create a high-energy collaborative work environment with a sense of identity and pride.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in electrical, mechanical, electric power engineering, science, economics, mathematics, or related fields
- Deep understanding of the Energy/Utility landscape in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record of business development success or building out new markets/customer.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in power systems sales, business development and sales strategy.
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Ability to travel 30-50%.

Desired:

- Master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance or Public Policy.
- Demonstrated experience in business/deal negotiations.
- Working relationships with TSOs/Utilities/Government.
- Energy industry experience at a senior level in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in energy regulatory issues and energy policy.
- Ability to motivate and influence individuals and Teams.
- Lean mindset.
- Established network with policy making bodies, power plant developers and wider energy organizations in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (e.g. ability to effectively communicate with all levels of GE and stakeholder/customer/plant staff), strong written and oral communication skills and usage of contemporary media and tools consistent with demonstrated experience in consultative selling.
